LG: Baker, Salyer, Shaffer, Barnes, Madden

C: Gaillard, Ericson, Hill, Fogarty

RG: Cleveland, Kindley, Hill, Johnson

RT: Wilson, Mays, Condon

Defense

DE: Ledbetter, Herring, Marshall, Cox

DT: Thompson, Clark, Carter, Young, Walthour?

NT: Rochester, Hawkins-Muckle, Wyatt, Davis?

SAM: Walker, Anderson, Ojulari

MIKE: Patrick, Hunter, Crowder, Tindall

WILL: Rice, Taylor, McBride, Laguins

JACK: Grant, Beal, Brown

LCB: Webb, Speed, Poole, D. Wilson

RCB: Baker, McGhee, Joseph, Smith

STAR: Gibbs, Joseph, Bishop

LS: LeCounte, J. Wilson, Wildgoose?

RS: Reed, Bishop, Brini

Our depth chart is going to depend largely on if we can keep Thompson, Ledbetter, Patrick and Baker.

I've read a lot of reports that Thompson is more than likely gone, Baker is 50/50, idk if Patrick is going to be able to come back or if Ledbetter is still planning on returning like he said he was a few weeks ago.

Gaillard , Baker and Cleveland all got manhandled vs Bama. Those three jobs should be up for grabs in the spring with Salyer and Hill coming in.

I agree on Baker for sure. Other than the Bama game Big Ben was pretty dominant...plus he will only be a 19 yr old So. and is still learning and getting better, whereas Baker has probably peaked.

It's hard to replace a Sr OC like Gaillard just because of his knowledge of the offense. He may not dominate a game but he brings a lot of leadership and experience that we will need next year.

Cleveland and Thomas played fine. The others were hot garbage. It wouldn’t surprise me if Salyer and Hill doesn’t start next season. I think we’re gonna be pretty good.

I'm only worried about the defense next year. Our offense should improve a little.

And BRENTON COX will play next year. He’s Tim Williams but wearing R&B...

I would make a couple changes, but overall I think you did a really good job.

Appreciate it.

I'm lost as to how any human can manhandle Big Ben?

I thought ben and the tackles played well. No center is going to do well against Payne without a double team and we were rarely giving gaillard any help. With baker I just don’t see it. Hopefully Netori, Schaffer, Salyer or Hill will start over baker. I think Wilson will move into the right tackle position and our current RT appears to be a natural fit st LT.

Ben is a large, strong human being. Line play has a lot to do with leverage, hand placement/technique, and overall agility. The knock on Ben has always been that he lacks in some of those areas what he has in spades regarding size and strength. Elite Dlineman like Payne and co. are just as big and strong and also elite technicians.

Definitely saw ben’s hands get slapped away a few times but keep in min he was playing DL just a few years ago. He is a physical specimen and we have one of the best OL coaches so we will train him up good

Any word on deAngelo Gibbs. Would love to see get snaps but I’m not sure he will even be with the team after summer.

What changes would you make? I'm just wanting to see what everyone else thinks as well as share my opinion.

I have read that he actually had surgery and will be able to qualify for a medical redshirt because of his injury. If that's true he should be good to go by the spring.

Don't think I can disagree with anything on there really.

I'm interested to see if a few Freshman can grab jobs -- I think Salyer may get the LG spot and I'm interested in seeing how Tindall does at ILB.

That would be wonderful...maybe his surgery was just the removal of an ingrown toenail.
