**Fixed**
My bad, I was looking at the roster listing again. In our scheme there is only 1 DT and 2 DE's

Me, too. He came on strong towards the end.

Herring is DE all the way.

I suspected he would be by his size.
You can put weight on a kid, but 30+ might be pushing it.

I personally think Trey Hill is going to outplay his rankings

What I hear around Warner Robins is he's been out of shape and plays lazy just outsizing his opponent but we shall see

We're a very versatile DL. Part of that is our scheme (very fluid) and part of it is the type of players we have in the roster. We put ends on the interior a lot.

Our last great defense (2011-12) had very defined roles in the DL. Abry Jones was strictly a DE, John Jenkins was strictly a DT, etc.

More than one way to skin a cat, but what we do right now is fun to watch because it generates a lot of chaos for the OL, especially on obvious passing downs. 340+ lb guards trying to defend David Marshall, plus stunts going everywhere.

I read a article saying he may redshirt to get in shape. The good thing he's on campus. I watched this guy dominate dlinemen in camps. Had he picked Auburn I would have been like......frick!

Rochester has the ability to be a force in the interior, and don’t sleep on Jordan Davis. He might not make a big impact this year, but I think he’ll have a stellar career at NT. We have some good depth, but not many guys that can take over a game. Clark could end up being that guy if he continues to improve.

I was thinking Wyatt. He seems to be following the same path as Atkins. If he add 10 solid pounds before the season he could be the #2 NT.

I think Davis will likely redshirt this year, but will be a stud in a couple of years. I agree that Wyatt is more game-ready at this point. He’s also already practiced with the team.
