Good news with Sermon. It seems like he likes our new staff better and can see the difference in the level of pursuit from them. We need to sign 2-3 RBs this class and he would be a perfect fit for our system.

Kirby should get a bonus star figured into the '17 class rankings for irony if he can get a kid by the last name of Sermon to become a Dawg after CMR got canned.

UGA is recruiting Tray Bishop a huge AU lean as a Quarterback. He has visited AU five times and Georgia once. He's only being recruited as a quarterback by us currently.

Tray BIshop

We also offered N'kosi Perry for the same position. Kirby is making it clear he covets a QB that is mobile.

What system? Our OC has run 4 different offenses at 3 different places...you have any clue what he plans to implement here? Nice cliche, and I agree he looks good, but we don't know shite about our system yet

Recruiting services know a whole lot more than I do about ranking players....but I really did not see a whole lot that excited me about Sermon in the film I saw. (Not saying he is not good...I might not have seen the right film) He seems to be very fast, and difficult to tackle, but just something there did not make me sit up and go "wow!". Again....that is just me and I may not have seen his best film.

Well, I'm not sure what film you watched but he played the first three games with a broken bone in his back and never once complained. I'll take him in a heartbeat.

He seems fast and hard to tackle....what other things do you want in a runningback?

Goddamn our trenches are looking STOUT!!

Thompson 6'4 305
Hawkins 6'4 305
Atkins 6'4 305
Gaillard 6'2 300
Pyke 6'6 315
Sims 6'4 300
Allen 6'4 300
Madden 6'6 345
Baker 6'6 310
Rochester 6'5 320
Cleveland 6'6 320
Carter 6'4 305
Clark 6'3 300
Kindley 6'5 330
Schaffer 6'5 330
Catalina 6'5 315

Gezuz that's some big ole boys right there. Granted I was a bit generous with a couple 290'ers, but as soon as they hit our program you know they'll be 300+.

We getting BIG in them trenches finally. Keep em coming, Kirby!

I'm not sure which one I was watching. I went and looked at his Hudl film and it looked much better. I didn't know he has played with a broken bone in his back. Sounds like a tough kid. And you're right. We need all the tough kids we can get.

Hope we invested some money in our food services with all those big boys. Good grief they could bankrupt a buffet..

I'm glad we got some big guys, but lets not just assume that bigger is better. Remember a few years back when we had the biggest Oline in all of football (high school, college, NFL). That year our Oline wasn't that great either.

I'd rather get Olineman with good/quick feet, with a long reach and then worry about some weight. However, if we can get guys like B Cleveland who is huge without much fat, then that will be cool too.

Yea,that was 2011.We outweighed the BSU D-line by about 50lbs per man and got
our asses whipped.

Really don't get too excited about any O-lineman until he steps on the field. It's
obviously the hardest posistion to evaluate in recruiting.Hell, look at Pyke.I thought
the guy was a potential AA after the 2014 season and was medicore at best last
year.

I don't think Kirby and Chaney are going to try and reinvent the wheel here and the theme about him is he will run an offense that bests fits his personnel and right now that is the running game. Getting a top rated RB is always a good thing and yeah we don't know what he will run on offense. But to say we will stay run oriented isn't stepping out on a limb here.

You actually think that was his fault? The kid thrived in a man blocking scheme and we changed it to a zone and he suddenly sucks.

You can't fully blame his drop off on the blocking scheme switch.
A good enough talent should be able to adjust to almost any scheme
thrown at him.

Would've he gets drafted by an NFL team that runs or switches to a
ZB scheme? You think they just cut em?
