Maybe he makes his competition look like dog shite.

I would say his rating would be adjusting accordingly if that were the case. I dont think he camped against elite talent, or if he did he wasn't burnin' them like he was on his hudl highlight.

Big guy with decent speed. I'm optimistic.

That's what I was getting at..there's reason to be optimistic. Hell, Mike Evans was tall, lanky, and only a 3* recruit before he transformed at A&M. You really never know what will happen.

Matt Landers committed

I’ll be the first to admit that I know nothing about Landers. I’m glad we could add a WR with size, but our numbers are thin at WR. Last mock class I saw had UGA taking 4 WR. Seeing as Blount, Landers, and Jenkins are already verbally committed, we essentially have 1 spot open between Holloman and Mark Webb. Holloman is a freak of a talent, but Webb is connected at the hip with his cousin RB D’Andre Swift.

Do we take both Holloman and Webb? Or does it comes down to big time talent at WR (Holloman) vs. highly rated WR AND big time RB.

Yep. Holloman and Webb and then arrange the deck if a bigger fish comes around later on

You'd take both of those guys no doubt.

I think Holloman is going to be an absolute beast when its all said and done.

Plus you never know if one of the current committed guys starts to look around/ doesn't "feel the love" and decides to open it back up. We have some room due to last year's smaller class

I'm going through and cleaning up the spreadsheet that I had with the likely 2017 projections of space. DawgsOnTop34 - if you get some time might be good to go through the first few posts to update commits/offers/visits

Yeah, my bad y'all. I've been moving and will finally be in a place this week with Internet and all that good stuff. I'll update everything soon!

No worries at all. I think most of us do a pretty good job staying on top of where we are but for those that don't, I figured this might be a good window to update it. With some of the departures, I figured I will update my projections for roster spacer in 2017 as well.

Big cat weekend left a big impression on Holloman and Stevens, but from everything out there we are still in good shape to land both of them.

Anyone have updates/highlights of how Jake Fromm (State Farm) is doing out at the Elite 11?

Thanks.

They always do well on Big Puss weekend. Like you mentioned, they won't catch us on either prospect imo.

I would be shocked if Demery didn’t pick UGA. Under some safe assumptions, UGA is in line to land one of the best OL classes in 2017 with Demery, Andrew Thomas and Tony Gray. I can’t remember the last time UGA was in contention with the top 4 OL (including Netori) in the state of Georgia. Pittman is doing serious work

Here in lies the problem. IMO this is the one thing that stops UGA from being uber-elite. This has been an issue since the early 90's. If Kirby fixes this one issue the CMR for CKS will be a positive one.

Agreed. Lack of legit, hardcore OL recruiting hamstrung all other efforts of the prior regime.
