I know. And, of course, you are right. It is an exciting time of the year, though, isn't it? I guess the new staff makes it even more so. We all hope for great possibilities. I'm surprised at how they have kept the class together. Great job by the staff.

The only people believing Mack is coming to UGA are people who literally check on recruiting once a week.
The kid is Bama bound...and can you blame him? I still think he would get more playing time and make it to the league at GA...but can we guarantee to be in the mix for Nattys every year? Nope
Its very hard to fight Bama. Even without Kirby, the Bama machine rolls on.
Now Brown to AU is much more embarrassing imo...That I 100% do not understand ( ya I get it there was uncertainty with the new staff and Rocker...etc) but I still don't get it.

I really don't get it either. If I were a recruit, I would stay away from schools where the staff is on the collective hot seat, whether that is Auburn this year or any other school. Shoot, I would have felt the same about a recruit coming to UGA had Richt not been fired...you're just taking a hell of a chance.

Negative, sir. There's a pic from his yearbook where he and his ample squeeze were decked in all UGA stuff, immediately prior to his OV to Oxford. It's proving tough to find, but it's out there.

I think the majority of folks are over him, but more so just use him as a reference to similar recruiting cases

Had offers from Cal, Louisville, and Navy. 32 schools overall had offered.

This is impressive that we were able to get him to come on as a PWO. I just watched his film and I like this add a good bit. Size looks good. Comfortable with the ball in his hands on special teams. Seems to have a nose for getting to the ball carrier. Kid looks like he could be a baller. LINK (hudl video embedded)
