So you're telling me there's a chance.

Kirby stopped by to see '18 QB Trevor Lawrence..that would be a great name to reel in but I think it will be tough.

That coach doesn't appear too pleased with Chaney's visit.

I can't get over how fat this chaney guy is.

Doesn't matter about body size of coach. But can he deliver the recruits. I feel good about our new coaches. Looking forward to signing day and season. Those will tell the real tale.

Maybe I'm just an a-hole, but if that guy was recruiting me, no chance I could take him seriously.

Likewise. Fair or not, appearance matters. I understand there are genetic disorders, etc. but regardless when I see a extremely fat person it's definitely a negative first impression.

They should at least have a nice haircut.

For me, it has more to do with the fact that he's a football coach who will demand physical fitness and endurance from his players when he looks like he takes 10 minutes to roll over in bed.
I don't personally care, but I remembered thinking that of my PE teachers in middle school. I'm sure it strikes a cord with some of these kids.

then why doesn't the Ryan Gosling clone, Cliff Kingsbury sign top classes?

Because he is on the other end of the spectrum. I don't think you want a coach who looks like a male model just like you don't want one who looks like he is going to croak before you finish your time at the school.

Because Texas Tech blows.
All else equal - assuming there is no difference in coaching ability, age, demeanor, etc - I would prefer a coach who is in shape vs one who is obese.
That being said, I don't think it makes that much of a difference.

There needs to be a stipulation in any new coach's contract. There would be a weight limit or you’re gone. If you’re already fat you would need to make progress towards losing it. I gave my wife a weight limit. She thought I was joking.
Society judges people by Their appearance. That’s a fricking fact. Chaney looks like a douche.
Coaches are surrounded by treadmills, weights, and nutritionists.

Just read that Hardman wouldn't be getting anymore in home visits because of some all star game he is playing in. Guess we should have visited him before he starts taking all his OVs

Would really suck to miss out on this kid, but him and Eason seem to be pretty tight. Hopefully that pays off for the good guys
