I'm a little confused, is he saying 6 more than already committed? If so that would be insane. If it's just current commits plus non-committed players then it would be pretty disappointing lol

He's gotta be talking about non committed guys. We have 5 already committed. That would only be one more.

Doing a class calculator, and I know this doesn't include anyone else's predictions but LSU should end up about 300. If UGA lands Robertson, Hardman, Warrior, and Price along with a few more we could have serious shot at the number 1 class. I think we end up top 3. Would be a fricking coup for Kirby as he's preparing for a National Championship with another team.

Yes and no. I mean, he has been gone but it has pretty much been during the Dead period, so I'm not sure it has hurt TOO much. Obviously he and his staff could have used this time to evaluate recruits, etc. Any way you slice it, though, if we wind up a top 5 class it will be a coup with a coaching change. It speaks to the respect the kids have for Smart.

Nixon is blazing fast..would be a big pickup to compliment our WRs. 6'1" with legit 4.3-4.4 speed. He was 7A player of the year for FL this past year.

I hope this isn't what his comment about having "a surprise for Georgia fans" was all about. I thought he said that in relation to something happening on the weekend of the 15th, unless I'm mistaken?

Recruits reacting to the hire or Tucker at DC. Nothing special.

5-star senior ILB Ben Davis, undecided, Gordo (Ala.): “I think coach Tucker is going to do great. He is a great coach who knows a lot about the game.”

4-star junior LB/S Breon Dixon, UGA commit, Peachtree Ridge: “I think it is a great move. I love Coach Tuck and his coaching style; plus, he’s very experienced.”

5-star junior CB DeAngelo Gibbs, undecided, Peachtree Ridge: “Great move.”

5-star junior ATH Richard LeCounte III, UGA commit, Liberty County: “Great hire.”

5-star senior ATH Mecole Hardman, Jr., undecided, Elbert County: “I think it’s a great hire.”

4-star junior DE Malik Herring, undecided, Mary Persons: “I’ve never talked to him or met him but since Kirby (Smart) hired him he has got to be great for the job. He knows what he’s talking about.”

3-star senior DB Tyrique McGhee, UGA commit, Peach County: “Great hire. (He) has a lot of knowledge of the game and knows what it takes to help me perfect my craft. Can’t wait to get to know him and work with him.”

4-star junior DB Xavier McKinney, Alabama commit, Roswell: “I’m guessing they did what they had to do. If that’s where they think they can win then you do what you gotta do even though we (at Alabama) just won a national title.”

This comment really doesn't make any sense.
