Anyone else hear that we just offered a 2018 RB from Hattiesburg MS named Fabian Franklin? I've watched him play and he's the real deal but most kids from that school have trouble making the grades and end up going JUCO

You think so? I would have thought any commits that was wavering would be gone by now. Who do you foresee leaving that has already committed?

Davis, Wims, or Laguins maybe??? It'll happen soon.

Watch for a couple flips to the good guys as well.

I hope Coley can do work on Wims and keep him.

Laguins I think stays, as does Wims; Laguins is still the most talented LB in the state and will be a priority to keep on board (unless for some reason we get Wilson and Davis and need to sacrifice Laguins for the room which I just don't see happening) and Wims is a priority simply because he has size that none of our current commits or guys on campus have. Davis I really don't know enough about to speculate but I wouldn't be surprised if he is forced out for guys higher on the board.

Ah! Thanks! I know Laguins had seemed to waver a bit, but I thought he was back to being solid. I guess none of them are solid until they sign the papers, though.

Remember, Laguins parents are also on the older end and live in Oconee. Would be much easier for them if he stays home

Think he leaves on his own accord or do you think we send him walking? I know he's smaller than Mack and Ben right now and would have likely been closer to that svelt, wuick LB that Pruitt like compared to the bigger traditional LBs Kirby goes for, but the kid could still fill out and be a tremendous asset.

IDK. I just don't get the feeling that he's a priority. I could be wrong, just haven't read anything about any coaches going to check in on him or Davis.

Coley flew out to see Wims this morning.

My read on that situation is that Mack and Ben are just bigger priorities. In the end, if Kirby still wants Jaleel, I think we get him. Just too much in favor of UGA for him to simply walk away because he's not feeling the love as much as he was from Pruitt.

Truth be told, if Kirby wants to stop having problems with QB's that can run, he needs to take a page from Pruitt's book on this one.

He seemed to have an answer in the second half by using Rashaan Evans as a spy on Watson (and to great effect). My only question would be why it took until the end of the first half for him to deploy such a weapon

Spying can leave you more exposed on the outside, and Watson was shredding them.

Watson is just really good, basically.

Hearing anything on Davis or Wilson?

A lot of chatter about Wilson, none on Davis.

This is what I chalked it up to after the game; I'm not sure Bama could have limited him anymore than they did. Best defense is just to be able to outscore the guy

Davis is going to Alabama. 99.9% chance.

Better chance at Wilson. Gotta see how his OV goes. It would really help to flip Jeawon Taylor, and I think that's doable.
