FSU 247 analyst Josh Newberg just wrote a pretty glowing analysis of Juwan Taylor after watching him live.

- had no idea who he was
- noticed that #4 was all over the place making plays (2 ints, 1 TD, a bunch of tackles)
- fast, raw athlete
- about 6'1-1.5", 205 but could fill out to 225
- could play LB or S and be an impact player in college

Well, UGA has Played Mitchell and Boykin on both offense and defense. In addition JJ green will have played both offense and defense. I am pretty sure there have been others as well.

No need to worry about Patrick. Got my eye on a few others that could go public really soon also.

So what's this kid's story? Why isn't he ranked?

Nobody really knew who he was until UGA offered him. He's picking up a lot of offers as teams go down to see Sh'Mar Kirby-Lane, his teammate

He's committing after his spring game, which starts at 7. Probably like 9 or 10

We need this kid to commit. This frick'n dry spout in recruiting is mildly concerning.

AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. -- The ACC will recommend an early signing period in college football to the College Commissioners Association, commissioner John Swofford said Thursday.

The CCA, a 32-member panel of Division I conference commissioners, governs the letter-of-intent program. An early signing period is on the agenda for its June meeting. The ACC wants the early signing period to begin Aug. 1.

I would love to see a conference step out on the limb and adopt this. Once one conference commits to it, the others will follow. Good stuff, and thanks for sharing.
