BASKETBALL... but....

Elite wing Jaylen Brown wrote in his USA Today diary that he will unofficially visit Georgia for a game on February 17.

LONG shot but nice to get him on campus....

His visit is out of respect for his home school, Fox and Rosemond. If I had to put a number on it, UGA has a 0.01% chance. Still nice to see the Dawgs put their effort in one of the best players in the country and get a response.

Also, Trent is now the number 1 player in the composite rankings. Looks like he solidified his position at the Army Game. First time UGA will have signed the #1 overall player. Let’s hope it works out better than Nkemdiche

Epic melt down would ensue if TT puts on the AU hat on signing day

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. The last #1 player from the state of Georgia hasn't looked like the #1 player in his respective class.

I still don't get the statement?? Nkemdiche was always going to Ole Miss with his brother..Thompson is 100% Dawg. He bleeds black & red and has been trying to flip everyone he can to the good guys.

Edit: okay I got your comment now

So... Who's left on the board and who do we really want? Is our class pretty much solidified? I think when all the dust settles, Van will stick it out with us as well? Thoughts?

This has zero to do with UGA or Ole Miss. This is strictly comparing the last two #1 players from the State of Georgia. One has underachieved, I'm hoping TT lives up to the hype. I honestly don't know how much clearer I could be.

Eta: I just saw your eta

Just a hunch, but I think Van sticks.

Like most years, I think our class is pretty much solidified, the work has been done, and there will not be a lot of surprises. I think Van sticks and we pull in Smith as expected. I will be ecstatic if we manage to reel Allen back into the fold. Outside of that, I don't see any real surprises good or bad. But what do I know?

Yeah sorry I think Nytro saying Auburn confused me as to what you were saying. I think Big Trent is going to be an absolute monster FWIW.

I agree with Golden. You're already seeing late offers go out, but for the most part the staff knows who they'll get. I think UGA finishes with Williamson, Roquan, Buchanan, and McGraw. We're likely looking at a class that finishes in the 3-5 range.

My prediction is we finish with Jackson, smith, a random OL, Jefferson, and flip McGraw

Don't give up on Allen. He didn't commit and waited on Schotty and Sale to be hired for a reason.

Auburn (hi lurkers) is having a huge weekend this weekend. Something like 6 5* and 20 4*

Granted, two of the 5* are Trent and Terry. Hope it's an inside job for us

They can load up all they want to, UGA will continue to kick their arse on the field. Not to mention, their class is very underwhelming right now. They need all the help they can get. Outside of Jovon Robinson, I don’t see one player I’d like from their class.

For all Richt's faults, you've got to seriously tip the hat on how he's handled Auburn. 9-5 record, with 6 being blow outs. We've gotten used to curb-stomping the backup school and I love it.

Trent is the most solid recruit we have. If Saban can't flip Godwin...then no way AU does. Those 2 are just enjoying the process imo and if anything are recruiting for the G
