Jackson Harris is trending toward UGA it seems. Maybe the commtiment of the other TE Hentges to Bama has made him a UGA lean?
Jayson Stanley and Austin Smith also seem to be trending.
I would love to have Stanley and Harris. Don't know anything about Autin Smith.

When is UGA's camp week?
The Mark Richt prospect camp is this weekend.
I think McDuffie will get an offer when they see him live. A description I've heard of him on 247 from an SEC coach is that "everything about him is twitchy." That's what UGA needs more of, frankly.
Prettyboy, Jackson Harris has been a UGA lean for a few months. It was just a matter of if Bama could catch up. It's close by all accounts, but I think UGA gets him.

Talking to myself, but Patrick Allen is visiting Saturday-Tuesday with his mother. He could end it if the visit goes well.

How can a guy with offers from almost every SEC power (Bama, LSU, Florida) be ranked 123rd in the STATE? Blows my mind

He's a bit underrated I think, but at the same time I think the recruiting services are just a bit spooked by Buford. A lot of those kids are so polished that it's tough to project what their upside is and whether they've reached it. They haven't worked out in college that often, or at least it seems that way.

I'm trying to remember the last time a Buford kid REALLY worked out. Dallas Lee was alright but nothing special. There was the DT that went to UF A few yrs back that was pretty solid. I think Nauta is gonna be a stud but you never know.

Good performance again at another camp. If you look way down you can find Preston Williams.
Have always felt he was overrated, said he wasn't the top WR in GA before he committed to UT. Glad to see it starting to shake out some. Stanley is better than Williams too and we lead for him.

On the other hand, you guys have a kid in your own backyard that is about to blow up. Last name is McDuffie. I think he will camp at UGA and earn an offer from your staff. He is silky smooth, and earned a UF offer on Monday at camp. Any of you guys heard much on him?
Pruitt has been recruiting him for a while, I was hoping he'd stay a sleeper longer. I'm pretty sure a UGA offer is coming as soon as he makes it up to camp to get it. I really would like to get him and we've got the space to do it. Have the space to take the chance on Thompson too, most likely. Though I doubt we'd accept his commit until very late.
Mcduffie isn't the only great DB getting overlooked in GA. Octavis Johnson is too, though he is a 4 star, he isn't getting near the press he should. Most under the radar 4 star in the class, atm.

Sounds like grades may be a factor with Johnson

That's a good core group. I think more than that will be up this weekend for camp, especially commits and guys hunting for offers.
It'll be interesting to see if Edoga shows up

Ehh, I think Allen is very possible. Maybe someone like McDuffie if he gets an offer. I guess there could be a surprise.
I wouldn't set 2-3 as the expectation. Hopefully we get Allen and Harris on Thursday

I wouldn't be shocked to see McGirt pull the trigger if his visit goes well. He loves UGA.
I'd be pumped to have a player we could call "Dirt McGirt".

However it works out, I think UGA will have 2 more OL commits in the next couple weeks. One will pop, then another will hurry to take the last spot.

I think the recent issues with Buford are that A) given they throw a lot of money into their program, including SC and facilities, their kids are much closer to their ceilings than others from smaller, poorer programs. B) HAve they actually been forced to move up to the level they should have been competing at for a while now? I am guessing that the players from any program are going to look good competing a step below their actual level.
