So basically WR/DB???

Unless the dude is the second coming of #34 I highly doubt we use him at rb, especially when you consider we would still have;

Green
White Lightening
Turman
Chubb
Michel

I'm looking at the Class of 2015 and we look as if we are gonna reel in 80% of our instate targets. The Crystal Ball is pointing to the good guys for most of them who are still uncommitted.

Yeah he's basically a clone of Quan Bray but has a much higher ceiling as far as intangibles and athleticism.

Rusty says Godwin is like a Malcolm Mitchell clone. I haven't seen Godwin play, but that sounds good.

I think he'll be on the offensive side of the ball if we land him. We'll be stacked at CB by the time he gets on campus and will be in need if elite level WR. Bobo's probably going to get him.

Dude is a 2015, not a 2025. Doubt we'll be stacked at CB by next year. Put him on defense. Please.

I would prefer our uneventful recruiting over Bama's negative eventful recruiting. They losing some big time recruits.

It's been overstated a bit by our fans, Bama is still fine.

We missed on a few guys with Raekwon (who seemed like he was using Bama as bait because I didn't think he'd go to tOSU) and CJ Hampton was already committed to OM and just recommitted seemed to me like a ploy to get in Hootie's ear and it worked. Hootie was rough because Bama has a need after this yr at S and he likely now ends up at OM.

Bama still has a lot of guys on the board that we likely will finish strong with

CB will be Wilkerson(3rd year) Langley (3rd year) wiggins (3rd year) Dawson (4th year), Parrish (2nd year) fentag (2nd year at UGA), and probably green (2nd year) and whoever we bring in for 2015.

He will not play at DB until at the very earliest 2016 and will see immediate playing time at WR.

I think both will be thin. Partly due to Terry moving to DB cause we're so terrible there.

If this dude comes in as a WR he'll be at DB by his sophomore year I bet. Why waste time. Put him at DB from the get go.

At WR, hopefully we'll still have JSW. Doubt Mitchell will be here in 2015.

Beyond that, Davis, LeMay (hopefully), maybe Tibbs, Gilbert Johnson, Shakenneth Williams, maybe another WR in this class, Owens

It seems to me that Godwin would probably be a WR. We should probably think about a JUCO WR as well for next year

I'm telling ya, we're going to need a playmaker like him at WR now that we've moved trammel terry. If we can keep JSW until his senior season that that would be awesome though.

W/e they do they need to stick with it.

I still think we should start putting these "athletes" on the defensive side of the ball, but CMR and Bobo will probably get him if they want him.

That's going to be the difference between us and Bama. Those players go to the offensive side of the ball. At Bama, they stick them on defense. MM would have been a CB at Bama. It makes sense. Richt was an offensive guy and Saban was a defensive guy.

I agree, test him out when he gets on campus, stick him somewhere and then stick with it.

I agree. We can't afford to Richard Samuel these guys. Pick a spot and stick with it

Not that big a loss since we have Gaillard and a stout DL corps. Still, frick Auburn.
