Agreed. As I mentioned in a similar conversation on the 247 Dawg boards, I'm all for "sign 25 (at least) every year and let the numbers sort themselves out." Sometimes there just aren't enough scholarships left over to reward the Kyle Karempelises and Brandon Hartons for their dedication to the team. Hell, there SHOULDN'T be nearly a dozen scholarships left over to award to walk-ons.
What wouldn't we have given to have an extra half dozen fresh guys on the OL/DL any of the last 6 years instead of some former walk-ons who made the team?
