The 6-2, 300-plus-pound Gaillard has entertained offers from some of the nation's top powerhouse programs, including two-time defending national champion Alabama. Other offers have come from Clemson, East Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, North Carolina, N.C. State, Notre Dame and South Carolina.

But according to Pine Forest coach Bill Sochovka, Gaillard has narrowed that list to two favorites - Clemson and Georgia. Sochovka expects Gaillard to make a verbal commitment to the Bulldogs after making an unofficial visit to Athens, Ga., on July 20.

"He's going to take his mom down there, and I'm pretty confident he'll verbally commit when he goes down there,'' Sochovka said Tuesday. "I'm 99.9 percent sure. In fact, there was a possibility he might visit Clemson, but we talked to them this morning and they asked if he was really serious about it (committing to Georgia). In a very nice way they said if you're set on Georgia, don't feel you have to visit them.

With as many talented QBs/RBs as we have lined up for the next few years, I'm with you Swin. I hope the OL bodies start stacking up. The skill positions are going to need it.

What happened with the recruitment with Kentavius Street. He seemed like a lock at one time but is now out of the picture.

Not enough room at DL. We're looking at a class of Shaw, Gaillard, Lambert, Russell, and Baker. Pretty damn good class.

That is a MONSTER of a class at DL. Maybe the best D line class under Richt. Between our class last year and this year, going to be very good and very deep at that on the line.

My question is if Baker plays d-line who will be the other offensive tackle in this class? Sims and who?
