An excellent quality we want in our DL's.

What, you don't want DL's that can jump a fence? Hopefully, the sumbitch is a knuckle dragger, too.

If you can jump a fence a left tackle doesn't stand a chance...

I mean any type of run in with the po-po is not good, but in the big picture a trespassing charge & disorderly conduct charge aren't the worst...

Seems like the kinda dude CMR could straighten out easily...

Unless Tunsil signs with GA, then he'd stop that shite.

Yeah, minimal Fulmer points. Well worth it IMO.

Tomorrow, this is how things will play out:

Richt and all of the coaches are flying down to Miami to spend the beginning of the day with Thomas. When it is time to leave, all coaches except McLendon will fly back to meet Thomas at the airport and begin his OV.

McLendon is staying in Miami to see Sony Michel.

This is the very definition of a recruiting full court press.

From JHD:

quote:

liner is serious about this and has been serious for a while. He contacted us and they have actually been talking for around 2 weeks. Part of the 6 hour meeting was talking about having another person like liner up here that RF felt comfortable with. Shaq is coming Saturday and don't be surprised if RF is there also. He hasn't decided where he's visiting this weekend. RF is a little higher on the gumps than I thought, but they are still a clear 3rd. RF has been hanging out at the barn some, but nothing like they say. A couple of times here and there mainly using it to work out and play games. He feels more comfortable with the new staff but not near as comfortable as with the old staff. He is not a "lock" to anyone and really has not decided what he wants to do.

quote:

the final statement that was made to me was "no matter how much they like to talk it up he's not as clear cut to auburn as they say.

ETA:
quote:

Soc, I would stick with the plan being RF to the barn this weekend since it is already set up until we get definite word he's cancelled. Sorry, didn't mean to imply that he's cancelled and deciding if I did that. Officially OV to the barn is on, he's deciding whether to stick with it or not.

Just a thought...by 247's rankings, we could end up with:

#3 Tunsil (OT) 5*
#10 Adams (DT) 5*
#15 Foster (LB) 5*
#37 Ramsey (QB) 4*
#99 Matthews (FS) 4*
#101 Terry (WR) 4*
#112 Liner (DT) 4*
#181 Langley (CB) 4*
#185 Turman (RB) 4*
#186 Wiggins (CB) 4*
#217 Kimbrough (LB) 4*

That's 11 in the top 247, and that's assuming Thomas goes to Miami and Kamara goes to Bama. Also, I might have missed one or two as it was a quick glimpse.

Holy shite. I doubt they would do that if they didn't think they had a shot.

I believe those tidbits came from Soc too. Coaches want Thomas. We don't want to be standing around with our dicks in our hands five yards from paydirt anymore
