I also don't understand how savannah is #2.
I mean yeah I know there's high crime and it's pretty tourist-y, but there's lots to do and it's in a great setting. There is NO WAY that there is only ONE worse place in the entire state to live.

Im surprised Columbus dodged that list. Columbus has gotten fricking bad in the past few years...we have a lot of poverty and the school system is mediocre at best.
We literally have had 3 shootings at the mall here....the fricking mall..

Albany sucks but as 3morereps said, Macon is a real shite hole. I once lived in Macon and the town often smelled like a fart.
I'm sure there are a few Georgia towns as bad as Albany but none are as awful as Macon.

It's actually comical Savannah is even on this list. I could find a shitty area in any part of any city, but people travel from all over the country to visit savannah, and really enjoy it. Plenty of people prefer it to charleston.

That smell was the paper mill on the south side of town but Macon is a shithole, no way to put lipstick on a pig. I work in Macon but get the hell out of dodge before the sun goes down.
