The matte helmet was probably the only part of the last uni I prefer over these

I hate these. We had the best unis in the conference since the SEC move. fricked it all up.

Font size is a pro for me. White facemask is a pro, too, but just BARELY above indifference in my book

That's honestly what I'm most pissed at. We had a GREAT, unique look that popped and was instantly recognizable. fricked it up and now the shite is boring again.

Seems like I'm in the minority here, but I love these jerseys.
After watching the player video it seems they do not, and thats all that really matters.

The only good thing about the jerseys is the larger "TEXAS A&M" font. Much needed after the bygone horrible days of our circa-2009 unis.
But everything else is just...bland. Uninspired. Simplicity for simplicity's sake is just boring.

I've always called for a larger font size to our name while also reducing the size of the Adidas logo (they got one of those things right). But if it's between these units and last year's unis, give me last year's! These are just uninspiring.

No offense taken at all. Thats the point I went on to make. I absolutely love them, but it was clear some of the players were disappointed, and they're a better representation of what recruits want than a washed up 28 year old redneck. There are players/former players coming out now saying they love them, so well see.

Major college uniforms are like stage makeup. It does not matter if they look like crap from 10 feet away. What matters is how they look from 200-400 feet away.
Numbers on the shoulders? Why? No one can see the damned things. The shoulder stripes (and on the pants) are visible from Texas Avenue, and they are distinct.
The matte helmets are cool as Hell. They just scream "tough."
I actually join TBS in liking the Texas silhouette logo, but I see no need for it anywhere on the uniform. From the distances that matter, it is just a vague, dark splotch. Put it at midfield, 25-feet across.
