Either get blown out or win the morherfricker, but don't lose by one score and dominate an entire half.

Now all those mistakes and turnovers actually mattered

It’s been so long since we had a moral victory. Feels good.

We got fracked with a non existent fumble but got a td that maybe wasn't a td

Seemed to work out

Agreed. Very Aggy to be competitive in a game we had no business being in, just to drop it, but I was really proud of everyone. I hate moral victories, but we made a bunch of freshman mistakes and still kept it close to a really good team.

Meh, I'll definitely take a moral victory in a game I expected to lose by 30

I used to be like you and have goddamned near heart attacks in close losses like this.

It's better for the team to learn how to hang then get blown out.

The second our dumbfrick administrators give Sumlin another guaranteed contract, it'll be the usual mediocrity, maybe even sooner.

The AD responsible for that (even though he claims he was not) is long gone. I'm with you on guaranteed contracts and especially large buyouts, but I can't see that happening with Woodward. I reserve the right to not knowing what the hell I'm talking about.

Woodward allowed Kennedy's guaranteed extension, which happened before the end of the 2016 season, so excuse me if I don't share your confidence.

i've gone from pleasantly suprised to flipping my shite over mond. dude is a boss already. i love watching the man play.

i still say sumlin has to go 9-3 to keep his job, but i wouldn't be suprised at all if it happened.

Sumlin deserves an extension after tonight. Already has the 2nd best season in A&M history under his belt and has proven he can continue an upward trend.

Not 2nd best. Not even close.

1939, 1919, 1927, 1992, and 1957 seasons were all better.

12-1 > 11-2
10-0 > 11-2
9-0-1 > 11-2

Need I go on?

Pure record isn't the whole story and you know it. Beating up on the Southwestern and Trinity intramural squads in the 1910s is a little different than playing SEC teams in the 2010s.

ETA: I get it, you would have rather stayed in the big 12, but some of us like the competition.

I love his attitude and his poise. He's impressed me with every passing week.
