- Yes, it was just Prairie View A&M. We've given up 300+ yards and 17+ points to teams of that caliber more than once in recent memory however. A goose egg at this level is impressive no matter what. That was the first time our defense has looked completely dominant against a lesser team in a while.
- Trevor Knight is and will continue to be a mixed bag. Texags is freaking out because Liucci and company led them to believe he was gonna somehow be different than the guy who spent four years at OU. That being said, he made some plays today.
- Jeremy Tabuyo is a guy who I think could have been on a star on almost any other team, that guy is ALWAYS open
- Christian Kirk vs that secondary was lol
- Our RBs are very solid
- No more Donovan Wilson at corner plz
- PV's QB is a tough kid, dude got destroyed today and kept coming back for more. It's easy to see why he's a star at the FCS level.
- Erik McCoy is as good a freshman OL as I've seen this early in their career, and that includes Luke Joeckel. Dude straight flattens fools.
- For as good as McCoy is, man does our other fish OL struggle. I just can't fathom Prater is better than Sutherland at this point. He got whipped by FCS linemen.
- Reggie Chevis is the surprise of the year. He's legit our best pass rushing DT right now. He had another three hurries this week and a QB hit.
- Shaan Washington has caught the Sean Porter senior bug, and that's a good thing. Four year decent players who suddenly became studs as seniors.
- DCS is better than Priest Willis IMO, he's very physical at the line
- Good too see Noel Ellis doing well, that kid has been through the ringer with his health

I brought my roommate down for this one. Had a great time. 67-0 is a great result against anyone.
It does concern me that in both games so far the offense has taken a few possessions to get going. We couldn't catch a pass the first 5 or so attempts. Once we got going, it was done. The defense never let up. Dominance in its purest form. Cupcakes may be cupcakes, but that was a fun game to watch.

I agree with most of this

Was Willis hurt? Didn't see him at all.

Moore hurt his shoulder during warm ups.
Knight is a streaky bastard. We need to catch him on a hot streak vs Bama.

Willis: per Olin, it's an ankle.

Kid was nails! Threw darts and got hit hard almost every play. If he had our receivers, he would be a star. That said, our receivers are almost embarrassing they are so good. Lining up Reynolds, Noil, RSJ, and Kirk was overkill.

sean porter was pretty good for 3 years. hopefully wilson was just there taking willis' snaps.
mccoy would have probably had all of us forget about our last center by now if his last name werent matthews.

Shaan has been beastly.

Our D line is insane

For a smaller/speed guy, Williams is a pretty damn good blocker.

I thought Prater was fine vs UCLA, but yeah he definitely struggled yesterday

They got rid of the TE this week, probably so they could better evaluate the OL. I'm not 100% Prater, but I do like the way he finishes blocks by putting the guys on the ground.
I did like that we started getting running backs involved in the pass game and had some 2 back sets. I like keeping more dynamic playmakers on the field. Our biggest advantage is our 4/5 WR sets, but if we need more blocking 2 RB sets will do.

So obviously our run game has looked good. I looked at the stats this morning. Our lowest YPC is 5.5 by Williams.
Bussey - 11.3
Kirk - 11.0
White - 7.0
Knight - 6.8
Etwi - 6.4
Ford - 5.8
Williams 5.5

I am a big fan of what we are doing with our OL, Williams, and Ford this year. It is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE step in the right direction.

Pretty good kool-aid free, non-redass assessment there, Roger.

Would not hate if those numbers didn't drop
