I think there was a fumbled KO return recovered by a member of the 12th man KO team around 85-86.
But as far as one guy given the label since the days of RC I don’t think there’s been another.

This game had lots of cool elements. Williams’ records/performance. Mond’s improvement. Putting the SEC on notice for next year. Etcetera.
But Cullen’s TD was my absolute favorite thing about this game.

Agreed. Wasn’t a “gimme” either - had to work for it.

Eh, let’s pump the brakes a bit. He didn’t have a good completion percentage and threw high almost all night. Finally had some good catches by our receivers to help him out. We still need him to develop more as a passer. Fortunately we didn’t need him to be great with how well the run game went.

Kid ran through four tackles. It was a rare Hollywood ending. The only way it could have been bigger was if we were behind and he had the game winner.
