I'm convinced that we are only high on most media polls because the media wants to have have a field day with us when we eventually lose.

We have no QB. We have a new DC. We are still questionable at OL. WR have been underwhelming. And we have a tough schedule.

Anyone putting us in the top 15 is a jackass.

Top 5 is overrated, but overall college football is weak right now. There should not be 15 teams bette than us by the end of this season or something is very wrong.

Yep, article is pretty spot on. We certainly shouldnt be top 5 to start the year, 15-25 would be more realistic.

Lots of questions as we head into this coming season, QB of course being #1. Will King be the answer, or Johnson, or a bunch of people are really high on Weigman. But this team isnt going places unless we have a solid starter back there, Jimbo's offense that he refuses to change around pretty much requires it.

I think we will be potentially great by the end of the year, but not sure about the rest. It all comes down to QB play.

Hard to argue 2022 isn't too soon. I have questions at QB, LT, WR, TE & LB. And DL confidence is more about potential than production. No excuses in 2023, we'll have the horses.

You have questions every year. The fact is that if we'd had a decent QB last year, we as fans would feel better about this year's results. We didn't. It all comes down to the QB, whether it is King or Weigman. I pray it isn't Johnson because the ceiling of ten wins is there with him. He's just not a difference-maker

King has yet to play a game at the college level (maroon and white game included) where he isn't throwing INTs.

I'll be happy if we're 15 or greater by the end of the season.

You have to go back 4 seasons to see anything special in Haynes's performance. His JR year of high school was truly impressive, but nothing he's done since then has been.

I’m not talking about King. Also, the entire main board is posts about A&M and NIL. I mean, damn.

He was trying to make plays when nothing was there. Had he just thrown the ball away he would have been fine. Typical freshman playing against inferior opponents (Kent St)

Interesting way of describing throwing an interception every 11 attempts

I don't think you should let another fanbase or article dictate your expectations for this team. Cause no matter the outcome they'll talk shite anyways
I definitely think we're ranked way to high but this could still be a good team, id be happy with a top 12-15 finish

Not sure what you're getting at but the majority of his INTs were him trying to create something when nothing was there.

Holding on to the ball and throwing coverage sacks. I vividly recall one INT bouncing off the wrong shoulder of a receiver and being caught by the defense. That one was 100% on King

Year 5 is too soon? Jimbo has the easiest job in the world.
