This is the root of your irascibility, isn't it?

Well now you're just upset because that's obviously not true

Eh, no. Dude Perfect would have been entertaining, at least. Roland Martin would have been perfect. Big football fan, few outside Texas know he went to A&M and this would have been a perfect opportunity to tell the world. These guys? I've heard of lots of bands I've never listened to and don't give a hoot about. I've never heard of these guys. I watched the "Selfie" video and if that's what passes for popular music these days I'm concerned for our nation.

Obligatory: Get off my lawn!

If we're talking about who the best choice would be for hype and marketing purposes, the Chainsmokers are the way to go.

Add Roland Martin to that list as well. In fact, put Roland Martin at the TOP of the list. He's intelligent, funny, and is actually a serious fan of college football.

Yeah but think of the thousands and thousands of people around the nation, young and old, who would have become A&M fans once they found out Roland Martin is an Ag.

Quite the opportunity we're wasting.

It's a great day. It's like 84 now and the low tomorrow is 58. Perfect northgate weather tomorrow night.

On a more pro-A&M note,

A&M's Knight & Twin Brother To Be Featured On ESPN's Gameday

Trevor Knight and his brother Connor were born a minute apart and remained inseparable for 22 years as they even played college football together at Oklahoma. However, Trevor lost out on the starting job at quarterback last season to Baker Mayfield which eventually pushed him to leave Norman as a graduate transfer and find a new start at Texas A&M. This decision also meant that he and his brother would be apart for the first time their lives and reporter Gene Wojciechowski details the decision and the adjustment that both brothers had to make. Their story will be featured on ESPN's Gameday which begins at 8:00 AM from College Station, Texas where the Aggies take on Tennessee.

This reminds me of my dad telling me the lineup for the rodeo back home. They always have a few decent acts and a pretty solid headliner. Couple years ago he called me up super upset about the lineup, he rattled off the list and doesn't even list the headliner. I ask and he says "some no name I've never heard of... Keith Urban? "
Lol. I'm not a new country fan, and definitely not Keith but this was THE PEAK of his reign.

Should've gotten Manny from Modern Family.
Aggie fan and he could've brought all the women from that show.

Pretty sure the Chainsmokers are known around the world. Just because you don't know who they are doesn't make them a bad choice. I really don't understand why it's a big enough deal for you to melt about it less than 24 hours before the biggest game we've had at Kyle Field since 2013.

They get tons of play on the radio. Just because you don't know the name doesn't mean you haven't heard their music.

They have the #1 song right now on billboard.

It's also not their first radio hit. Todays music is so Web driven though, you have to look at YouTube views and Spotify/iTunes

this.

they tear it up on streaming services.

their lyrics tend to be pretty funny and I like that they don't take themselves too seriously.
