Davis is barely behind most of our guards in FT percentage this year. Last year, he was #3 on the team in FT percentage.

Here you go:

How anybody can think the team was poorly coached today doesn't know basketball.

Hop is putting on quite the show on the pay board this afternoon.

You mean the season with the highest win total in school history and tied for going the deepest in the NCAA's in school history. You think a 9-win football season with a Chik-Fil-A
Bowl win over Duke is better? Seriously?

The football team hasn't been given free passes? For all the talk of Kennedy having one in six good seasons, the football team has had two good seasons in the past 19 years.

He is refusing to concede that coaching had anything at all to do with today’s loss. Flat refusal.

Only so often you can get your men in position to take wide open shots, they actually have to hit them.

and took... the refs shitting all over us all game.

Look we ate some bad calls (as every team will in every game), but we finished with a 30-13 ft advantage. Saying we lost that game because of the refs is "I've been huffing lead paint for 10 years" dumb.

Getting a player a wide open 3 isn't an accomplishment when the guy pulling the trigger is Tyler Davis.

Such a stupid statement. But keep defending your boy

1 tourney appearance in 6 years is the only relevant stat here.

At some point ... results matter. Next man up. 1 for 6 is not a good stat. I’m not a true Kennedy basher... but it’s been frustrating.

I’m convinced 9 out of 10 of people who post in this thread don’t watch the games.

I understand I’m the antichrist here, but this is getting a little unbearable. Anyone want to discuss what we did poorly this game specifically or are we just going to keep throwing out ad hominems and feeling proud of ourselves?

Valid, if we don’t make the tournament this year his seat is going to be hot. But I still think we get to the tourney this year and with a good seed at that.

Shoot FTs (19/30 at home is pathetic)
Protect the ball (14 turnovers at home is pathetic)
Shoot the three (5/25 is pathetic anywhere)
Defend the three

Of course half court offense, but that's been the baseline under Kennedy so it's expected at this point. We're 198th in the country in half court offensive efficiency. We're terrible at the same things Kennedy teams are always terrible at, the most concerning thing is that this year we're also terrible defending the perimeter.

Arguing this is simply about injuries is ignoring mountains of data over YEARS of bad basketball.

Missing the tournament with this team should be a fireable offense

Of course, BK should have been fired after 2014 and 2015 as well. Objectively last year was miserable as well but I understand the optics of firing a coach a year after a S16 run. My biggest concern is limping into the postseason this year and buying him a few more years.

It's time for BK to be fired, plain and simple.

No more, no less.

You’re right, we need a coach who has the team practice shooting and not turning the ball over in practice. Fire Kennedy.
