TexAgs vs. GigEm 247?

I have had a TexAgs account for about a year now and I don't post much, just in it for the information. I took advantage of the free subscription to 247 this summer and have enjoyed it so far. But alas, I am just a poor college student and can only afford one subscription. I know the GigEm 247 recruiting info is much better but I really do enjoy the TexAgs content.
I guess I was just wondering how the in-season content is over at 247? Really thinking about switching over but I am torn, any suggestions?

Never made a 247 account, so I couldn't tell you. Had stars on TexAgs for awhile, but I'm not as big of a recruiting hound so I fell back to the ranks of the lolpoors

Man I could never post on the Zoo. Not on enough and you poors are crazy

I used to post there a lot more than I do now. Mostly just lurk and laugh these days.
Zoo is fricking nuts

i made this thread a little while back and i decided to use the free trial the 247 is having. i think hamm is better at delivering recruiting news than looch is, but texags has a shite ton more of resources and they give out an all around better product. if you just want recruiting info, go with 247 but if you want videos and all that other shite, stick with texags

This. 247 has more and faster recruiting info but its not by a mile or anything. Personally I can only take so much speculation on the thoughts of a 17 year old kid. I love all the videos and other stuff on Texags as well. Can't stand the Zoo though, it makes the Rant look like mature conversation.

If you can stand Liucci's smug, douche personality Texags is better. They have guys like Gabe, Leone, etc. who are pretty good and their volume of content is unmatched.
I will warm you though, Liucci is one of the worst writers you'll ever see. All of his articles read like a fifth grader who doesn't yet understand punctuation, parenthesis and quotation. I really cant fathom nobody he works with in all these years has never said anything to him about it.

I can't. I will never give him my money. The texags radio guys are terrible too. In fact I'm not sure there is one host, or even a regular contributor that appears on any of the 1150 shows that I actually like listening to, but it's all i gots.

I got a two week ban for saying something about this in the thread of one of his articles.

What bugs me the most is that he acts like he is unbiased but then all of his articles read like the following:
"Ricky Seals-Jones checked at 6'6" (plus) carrying 240 pounds on his frame which still has room for growth. I wouldn't be shocked to see him end up with 400-500 yards receiving this year (and I'm leaning closer to 500)."
It's an exercise in grammatically poor homerism. Every time there is a statement made he MAKES SURE you know he falls on the Aggie side of it.
All that said, I enjoy much of the content from former players and coaches. As goofy as he is, I also like Bock as he is a good writer and pretty unbiased (i.e. he'll post negative stuff on the regular if it calls for it).

Its TexAgs for me and its not close.
The boards are better and the all around info is better.
I feel like 247 might have more recruiting only content, but I don't think its always as accurate as TexAgs or if it is then sometimes they don't 100% respect all the recruits wishes from what I hear..

I can not figure out why folks pay for emoticons when they are free on pretty much every other site on the internet.

Yeahh.... People are paying JUST for the emoticons.

It's worth it to me for the laugh/cry face alone.

I haven't actually had a premium subscription over there in a couple years. Just a Zoo animal these days.

I bought one when I first signed up, back when I was a junior. Never really used it for premium content, though, so I went back to being a lolpoor and have been ever since.
