Supposedly he was so toxic 247 dumped him to try and repair relations with the athletic department.
Rumor is Hamm had been banned for life from A&M athletic events. Like he's not allowed in the building even if he buys a ticket.

Pretty sure Clayton Williams, Malon Sutherland, LTG Van Alstyne, Rick Perry, the Aggie Bonfire collapse of 1999, Dennis Franchione, and Mike McKinney were all worse for A&M than Kevin Murray.

Actually he wasn't until he had folks get in his ear. He mentioned to me A&M was his top heading into the December timeframe. He told me he had to block Hamm and he soured due to the constant "harassment". Regardless I never have felt he had the heart to match the physical.
On a different note I believe some OU recruits also mentioned they grew tired of Hamm and elimated A&M from consideration.
Hamm and I visited on the sidelines most of a game once. He definitely was arrogant and thought very high of himself. He was also very critical of the coaching staff.

He had already committed to Baylor the summer prior. How was A&M his top going into December?
