They have a player committed, but unsigned who is still looking at other schools, he is listed as a CB but sounds like he is a safety. LINK

Hope Young can stick at CB but I do think he will outgrow it. Whether it’s 1 or 0 it’s still terrible

We will need 4 corners next year, which is a huge number.

Alpha Dog
Mesquite (Texas) West Mesquite wide out Dylan Wright had a great day catching the football and earned Alpha Dog status over some very good offensive line performers. Wright is a big kid at 6-4, 215 pounds and uses his size well to create separation. He can bully smaller corners and has high level body control. He does a great job adjusting to the ball in the air, has strong hands and flashed enough speed to make several nice catches down the field as well. The Texas A&M signee is rated the No. 89 prospects in the 247Sports Composite, No. 71 by 247Sports and could be in line for a rankings bump with a few more performances like we saw today

5. OL, Kenyon Green, Humble (Texas) Atascocita- Green was the only guy we have seen through two days contain Kayvon Thibodeaux and he had a couple of impressive wins today. Green has a guard body but a tackle skill set. He moves well for a 330 pound lineman and it will be interesting to see where he ultimately plays at the next level. Green is rated No. 11 in the 247Sports Composite and signed with Texas A&M

247 said wright was the best overall offensive player today. rivals said he was the best wide receiver. both write ups suggested that he will probably get a bump. looking like we may end up with another top 50 overall player

from todays running updates
quote:
Team Ballaholic working on some inside run drills against front 7, Isaiah Spiller with a nice, strong run, powerful kid. Several A&M commits have looked really good this week.

Dylan Wright gets a step on Kaiir Elam for a catch.

Kenyon Green with a nice block on a stretch play, working at RT today.

John Dunmore Beats Brian Williams on a corner route

Really like the length and strong hands of Texas A&M commit Dylan Wright. Got Craig positioning on it inside slant and used his body well before snatching the pass.

Kenyon has been one of the top OL on Ballaholic this week.

He was sent an LOI before the early signing day. But, the numbers might not be there anymore. We are trying to confirm either way whether there is room for him. He announced a commitment to A&M not too long ago but we are going to hold off on considering him committed right now
frick. I feel horrible for this kid if this is true

coaches really like him. I imagine he'll get a greyshirt (and if we have room later revert back).

Seems like some of our guys are have had a really good week at their games. Leal, wright, and kenyon are all getting a lot of love. Guys on 247 said spiller might get his 4th star back from them

Wright should get a huge bump

both wright and leal are being called the best overall performers. wright from the other day, this is from today for leal
and if you want to cry, christian harris apparently looks really good at linebacker.

ALPHA DOG
As Jimbo Fisher looks to turn over his Texas A&M roster to be more capable of competing with the Alabamas of the world, DeMarvin Leal (30) is the type of athlete he surely has in mind. The Aggie signee has been unblockable at the line of scrimmage. He was completely disruptive during team sessions and showed the versatility to shift inside to defensive tackle and even nose and bully interior offensive linemen too. I also love the way Leal works. He’s eager to compete and plays with energy that doesn’t look manufactured. He looks like as much of a sure thing as the event has to offer.
