Thank goodness you posted this, because if you were "Trey Felder" with the selfie pic that would have completely changed my opinion of you

A straightforward answer probably breaks all kinds of self-promotion rules here, but I can take the heat

My F-1 old lady and (I still can't get over this) Lutheran minister is also here, but I won't out him.

Heh. He'll do it himself sooner or later. And I just won't, no matter how many sharp sticks you poke in my eyes. I will say that living with him for those years and then him becoming a Lutheran minister and later a prof at the Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary... blew all of F-1 '79's minds. We're still recovering.

Yeah, I take (and post) plenty of selfies, but rarely have them as my profile pic.

I spent an extra semester at A&M after posting 1 D, the rest F's, due to completely blowing off school and dedicating myself to bonfire my senior year.
I'm sure y'all remember when one of Shelby Metcalf's players presented an identical grade report? Coach said something like: "Son, it looks like you've been spending too much time on one course."

In my case the D was Military Science. The only way to flunk MS was to get full-body tattoos, let your hair grow down to your butt, and show up for class waving a CCCP flag. The other F's were well-earned.

With your folks being staunch Baylor people, I'm sure they completely understood your selfless devotion to Bonfire...

Yes, absolutely. They were very understanding.

Rick Smith, class of '84, met and married my wife at A&M, also class of '84 and we've lived in the DFW area since we graduated. Raised 2 girls, classes of '11 and '17. I'm a mortgage lender and my wife is a hospital sales rep. Several other Ags in our family and a lot of LSU grads on her side too. I learn and find out more stuff on the rant than I could ever pick up from the news or ESPN, etc. This place is like a parallel universe for insane SEC fans

OK I'll bite.
Quidam65 from DFW area. The 65 is when I was born, not when I graduated!
I did not attend A&M (and still have it on my bucket list to visit the campus), but attended the one state school A&M may want back--UT Arlington (which was once under the A&M System).
I work as an auditor for the Department of Defense. The best way to explain things is that I keep the $2,000 hammers TBird uses on the B-2 from being $4,000 hammers. (Why we need $2,000 hammers is, of course, a different department. But stealth ain't cheap and you can't pound it back into shape like an F-16 either.)
The Quidam part is from the title character of the Cirque du Soleil show, who resembles the Headless Horseman wearing a hat
and carring a large umbrella.
My favorite teams are the Stars, Mavericks, and Rangers (forget the Cowboys; if they were to play t.u. I'm rooting for the asteroid).
I discovered TD back in June 2010 when the first round of rumors surrounding A&M started--would they go to the PAC, the SEC, stay in the Big 12? I wanted to see how other SEC fan bases viewed the prospect of A&M joining the conference, and TD was the first place I found.
