It takes a bit of time and an odd obsession for someone outside of our conference to go back thru the record and compile those numbers, solid proof that you're a casual observer and not obsessed with our team. I'm sure if your beloved Horns got to play some of those "bottom dwellers" we beat like Arkansas and Ole Miss you would have curb stomped em...

I forgot about Justin Wilson, he was really popular in the 80's and 90's so that's probably where that started. Some of those guys from the small towns around Laplace spoke a whole other language!
since we are getting the weather a day ahead of Baton Rouge and it's been pretty stormy here, I'll be happy if we get all 3 games in period. I highly doubt either team sweeps as both teams have such good bats, at least one of these games is going to be taken with multiple HR's. My prediction is A&M 2-1.

On the school name thing, my father-in-law worked for over 30 years for DuPont in Laplace and some of the older cajuns called it LS & U for some reason. Anybody else in creole country ever hear that?
A&M class of '84, same for my wife. The rest of her family went to LSU and most of mine went to A&M.

yes, I see it, but what stuck out the most to me was the word "data" followed by "facebook likes" and then I knew they missed half the adult population of every county in the country.

"With data based on Facebook ‘likes’, we estimated the boundaries of fandom for 82 teams."

Statistical accuracy is assured

I'm 51 and skipped annual checkups from about 20 years old to 40 years old. I've now gone every year for the last 11 years and got my colonoscopy last year. Everybody tends to skip when your younger but it only take about an hour and the worst part is 15 seconds for the prostate exam. I'm on high blood pressure and cholesterol meds. now so no more skipping for me since they won't renew my prescriptions for more than 12 months at a time.
my wife and I were hiking to a pretty remote waterfall on Maui last year and we ran into a former student in an A&M shirt.

re: Dallas or Houston?

Both cities are great places for bars, restaurants and nightlife. DFW airport is closer to Cowboys stadium but Houston's downtown is closer to Reliant stadium. Dallas is a little more metropolitan and Houston is a little more country. Houston in late August/early Sept. has oppressive humidity in a take 3 showers a day kind of way. Dallas is more of a dry/choking heat like you'd see in an old Clint Eastwood Western. I know both stadiums are indoors. Take your pick, either LSU or Alabama will be great games and both stadiums are jaw dropping big and amazing.
St. John, USVI.
Best kept secret in the caribbean, part of the US, great snorkeling/diving, tons of houses on VRBO to rent and the north shore beaches are incredible...

Dillard's Gold Label, I've worn them for 20 years and they are truly wrinkle free, long lasting and come in a huge variety of neck/sleeve sizes for about $65. The current sale as mentioned a page or two ago at $35 is a great deal.
