Our boosters decided to pledge 30 million toward NIL a month ago then all collectively changed their mind for absolutely no reason in the meantime. Duh!

Well I know that comment wasn’t directed towards me but yes I checked that box this evening. For those of us who refuse to give him a dime (I would if I wanted unbiased journalism) … please expand on the spin.

Nuno is almost worse.

He gets way too worked up and seems to be a bit of an extreme bro. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme but I really don't care for when radio hosts go off on angry rants.

He's very enthusiastic for A&M though so it's not all bad. I guess I just miss Gabe's more relaxed vibe.

It's almost like he's trying to make Xin Pubes seem like less of a douche by comparison.

Why do you listen to Liucci if you hate the dude so much? Do you enjoy being miserable or something? I've never met anyone who willingly consumed something they absolutely abhorred.

Nuno seems like he is still adjusting. He talks a lot about how he had friends in the industry in Houston and now that he is working for an A&M website he is shocked by the bias level against A&M and lack of objectivity from folks he used to respect. He brings up examples all the time. Overall he's definitely a pro but needs to turn his rah rah down a bit. Pairing him with Olin at the start is good as Olin is pretty level headed.

I'm old so this is normal for me to see. Signing with the good guys has historically caused a player's ranking to drop.

This is why I can't take Olin Buchanan seriously

Example of his butthurt from that:

quote:

Yeah I bumped it on that main board the other day. Olin finally came around and after saying I probably hated watching the aggies go to the sweet 16 he asked for my name in email. I kept thinking doesn't texags already have my email and name?

I was off the site the next day and just let it die. I don't think Olin is a bad writer. Its not about an I told you so thing about a coach that's about to be fired. As Bum Phillips said the only types of coaches that exist are the ones that have been fired and will be fired.

But when you write an article like this that was so far out of bounds you should be held accountable. Was the aggie fan who had sat thru loses to north texas rice and southern wrong to doubt? Even with winning the sec co championship bk was still 6 games under 500 in conference play when this was written.

As much as I like Danuel comparing him to the number 1 pick and college player of the year is just silly.

Was the prospect of BK going to LSU something just pulled out of thin air?

BK took over a declining program? If it was in decline compared to the teams that made 6 straight dances I can assure you it wasn't losing record 4-14 conference record level decline.

BK is more loyal to a&m then aggie fans are to him? Do we really think if a blue blood school called up and offered BK a job and more money he wouldn't take it? BK is only not looking around because this is the best job even a healthy BK was most likely to ever get. Its like giving praise to some ugly dude for not cheating on his super model girl friend that he never should have gotten in the first place.

They both pumped sunshine about the later games in the football schedule. I enjoy watching the YouTube broadcast though. It's not watched by very many but in my objective view, they are no more or less optimistic about the Aggies than the predictions I've seen here.

On a different note, I am tired of hearing them moan about Harold Perkins. TexAgs, do some reporting and find out if Jimbo has a backup plan for linebacker. I guess we find out pretty soon. They did say the coaches were going to have a sit down with HP today.

Thanks a lot for resurrecting memories of Billy Kennedy's time at A&M. There was so much in that Olin article to pick apart. The fact BK didn't land another head coaching gig is a bit telling, but that's hindsight. However, though I didn't care for what I saw of BK the coach, I respected what i saw of BK the man.

I'm beginning to believe that HP ends up at JSU. He just wants to play football and doesn't appear to want to put in much work at all. That is just my read on the situation
