Daniels and LJ Johnson would be the best running back tandem we’ve had in a class that I can remember

Darren Lewis and Randy Simmons were the top 2 RB recruits in the country when we signed them in 1987 if memory serves correctly. Simmons was a MASSIVE bust given he was the #1 player in the country by most services. Lewis obviously had an all time great college career.

broke his leg and never really recovered. Maybe it happened in an all-star game?
Edit: It did. He hurt his knee bad in the THSCA all star game. Really heart-breaking.

I think they have his measurement screwed up too. Last I read he's 6'3" or 6'4" at 315, not 6'2" 350.

He's definitely the shortest highly rated CB. You have to go back to Asante Samuel Jr. in the 2018 class (FSU) to find another top 25 CB that's 5-9. That means he's gotta be doing a lot of other things right to overcome the lack of length.
