Rumor is that he didn't want to give up his phone last night at curfew (it's a team rule). His family says he just wanted to check in on family that was coming into town.
Stupid rule IMO. It's the last game of the season and enforcing petty rules like this seems childish. Let them relax.

Marshall isn’t near as complete a team as Aledo, but Achane and Hornsby are freaking athletes. Achane took over that last drive.

He decommited from UNC after only a month or so, remember people saying it was because the OC wanted a different QB, and Hornsby has been all Brewster.

He may not want to be an “ATH” but he sure as shite ain’t a qb from what I watched today. He can however run with that fricking ball, and changes direction so effortlessly. Also super pumped about achane after watching them. Hope he isn’t too small

In case anyone cares, I got the inside scoop on why Jefferson was allowed to sign today.
Long story short, some fairly major NCAA infractions were committed under the former regime when Jefferson was a 5 star. The AD felt signing him was better than pissing he and his family off and risking the fallout.

Jefferson didn’t commit until Jimbo got here, right? I’m trying to figure out how the previous regime was involved. If they are committing major infractions for an ok center recruit two years before he signs then they are dumbasses indeed.

He committed in January of 2017, 11 months before Jimbo was hired. At the time Jefferson was rated at 5 stars and was the #1 player in the class.
