It's a shame none of our DBs will be enrolling early

First to correct a quick typo, it’s Clifford Chattman. You have it right up top Caleb Chapman is a receiver.

I also think you need to list more than 11 positions each to give a true account of the depth chart. Most of the time we are in a 3WR/1TE set so we technically have 3 ”starting” WRs. But you want to reflect both a 3rd WR and the FB on the chart.

Similarly the Rover is a distinct position from the Nickel, so it’s probably worth reflecting Roney Elam as the starting NB in the spring.

I have some minor disagreements with your list but the most notable is that I feel sure Keldrick Carper will be in the 2-deep in the spring.

I know you said spring, but I'm going to include guys coming in the fall too

RB - I think Cordarrian Richardson will be a factor.

WR - Jalen Preston and Dylan Wright could be factors along with the guys you mentioned.

OL - Kenyon Green will be a game 1 starter.

DL - Leal looks to be a day 1 game changer. Could start early.

CB - Blades and Young will be in the two deep (in the fall).

are either Anthony Hines or Aaron Hansford possible transfers?

I am not as concerned about linebacker because I think we will maintain the same quality of defensive line and our secondary will improve.

I think Vernon Jackson is going to have a big spring. He's raw, but the dude can run.

Jalen Preson is going to be on the depth chart.

Not overly concerned about OL considering how bad we thought we would be this year. We have a great OL coach and our system fits his strengths.

We have several freshmen who will make their way into the depth chart. Brian Williams will be one of them for sure. Green will probably start - he's as good as we have had since the original Matthews.

Hines, no, he posted on twitter just a few days ago how he is ready to get back to playing in 2019.

Hansford,I think people were putting him on some transfer list just because he is now going into his redshirt JR year and has seen little to no playing time at WR. But with reports om him switching to LB and how well he takes to playing it again, he could easily be in the two deep there.

I also read some of his family had moved down to College Station with him, so if the LB switch doesn't work out, or his injuries are still to much, he could also medically retire and not count to the 85.

Hansford I have no idea, but Hines definitely not. He didn’t play much this year because of injury, not getting passed up on depth. He actually looked pretty good the little action he did get so I’d expect him to be one of our starters or at least a big contributor. I know rankings aren’t everything, but he was a high 4 star coming out of high school. We need him.
