Gilly with the fullback dive on the goalline for 6. Kyle would go apeshit

Not as apeshit as Gilly would be

Jones was the last true fullback A&M had.

I remember the home opener of my senior year when he ran for a garbage touchdown as a freshman against Tulsa and no one had a clue who he was.

Its been rumored that we are going to lose quite a few people actually. A couple receivers, o-lineman, and a DB have been marked according to a couple other sites I follow. The first one to go was Wolford via medical retirement. Bussey was close last year and his situation hasn't improved much. Look for him to probably be next unfortunately.

With the priority they’re going to place on changing the culture I am expecting a lot of attrition beyond just processing to hit the scholarship number

It's not an issue this year, but we'll need a bunch of attrition between now and August 2019 if we want to sign a full class next February. We're slated to be full scholarship wise going into fall camp as of now and we have like 10 scholarship seniors. None of our juniors or redshirt sophomores are likely to leave early for the drafted either unless one blows up this year.

Basically around 15-18 guys currently on scholarship will need to transfer, retire or get trapdoored over the next 17 months. I'd imagine most of that will happen next winter/spring once it's clear what Jimbo is looking for and who steps up in his system.

With us projected to sign around 4 national top-150 receivers next February combined with Preston and Chapman (horribly underrated IMO) in this class, I can see a BUNCH of receiver attrition. Honestly I could everyone but Ausbon, Buckley and Paul eventually transferring out. Davis just isn't the player he was before the injury and Jones can't catch.

Idk if I'd call him choosing to get his master's at another school being processed. He would likely have seen meaningful snaps. Maybe even started?

Was a tailback when he first arrived on campus, as was Keith Joseph.

Stacey Jones was a fullback all the way.
