Yep, there’s a reason he has said he would still like to coach and no power 5 job has offered him. Just like Mac Brown, gotten too old and the game has passed him up. Do not want.

Jimbo wasn’t on my radar or wish list because I didn’t think he would leave FSU. Not 100% sold on Jimbo but pretty close. If he wants the job and we can get him we absolutely have to get it done. You just can’t pass up the opportunity to get someone with his experience and success on the national stage.

Do have some concerns about the off field issues at FSU with him at HC. Might be more of a FSU thing that started under Bowden...not sure. If I had my choice with no obstacles Fisher not my top choice but I am much more excited about the prospect of Fisher taking over than I ever was about a handful of people being mentioned including Chip Kelly, etc... wanted nothing to do with him. I can get behind Fisher and will never look back no matter how it turns out. SOLID choice IMO.

An argument against Fisher is a pretty difficult case to make unless you know exactly who the other choice actually is.

I think Weazel is just talking out the side of his mouth and basing things off internet conjecture. Or he’s a BZ or TMH sock

And you based your opinion on what exactly?????

Billy Liucci hasn't been ahead of the curve because he's simply can't. TA is in bed with the University and they've been the unofficial mouthpiece of the Athletic Department for a while now. He "knows" no more than any other beat writter (and by "knows", I mean on what he can and cannot report on). Billy Liucci is just the Athletic Department's mouthpiece. He's to the AD what RT is to Russia.

Florida State became the Criminoles under Bowden, LONG before Fisher.

Pretty sure it is basically done, or Liucci would not have said anything

Much more likely to be a BZ sock than TMH.

Either way, he just comes across as a kid looking for internet arguments.

Is it crazy that I’m feeling kind of optimistic about tomorrow?

I only do 1 sig bet per year. Been Arkansas the past few years. Might switch it up next season.

People are really down on the Morris idea, but I think it could work out. He coached under Dabo, and the entire world hated the Dabo Swinney hire at the time.

Picking coaches is a total crap shoot. Even throwing a ton of money at the obvious choice doesn't pay off half the time.
