Ehh... Rich Brooks took them to 4 straight bowls not that long ago. It's not as desolate a stop as it's rep.

Their mistake was hiring Joker Phillips after Brooks retired.

Also... did you not watch the end of the game and how Kentucky lost? I can't imagine the melt on Sumlin if A&M lost a game b/c they only had ten men on the field and left a WR completely uncovered at the end of a game they had a 13 point 4th lead in.

If Sumlin finishes second in the west, or better, then he will have earned the right to keep his job

Sure I can. Remember the A&M/Utah Game in 2004 when that exact thing happened?

Remember when we thought we were going to get Mark Richt instead of Sumlin?

CFB Journalist: So you'll be anonymous of course, but for my editor, what did you say your name was?

Jimmy Sexton *holding nose, affecting Texas accent, glancing around kitchen*: Jimmy... uh... T-Fal.

I think Morris would be a good hire, but am not ready to give up on shooting for the moon just yet. Old lady sent me this link earlier today. Yeah, he's a sportswriter with little or no inside info, but what if?

I can’t believe everyone here is going to settle for Jimbo or Chad. This is the problem with A&M fans, we go on a head coaching search and the fans don’t demand enough. You pay for a few game tickets every year, why should you see anything less than a dominant A&M win?

We need to go after Saban. He’s the only sure thing out there. We’re Aggies and we’re the best so let’s offer $30 million to him. You know what, let’s do $40 million just to be safe. We have a bunch of big money guys, just tell them to buy less tanks and pay our coaches more, we deserve it.

Anyways, we need to DEMAND it into reality. The only thing standing between us and football success is more whiny internet posts. Let’s get to it!

I would never watch an A&M football again if we hired Jeff Fisher as head coach

I would honestly consider not supporting the athletic department entirely

I would rather rehire Sherman or keep Sumlin.

i mean, i know you're joking but I'd say offer him like 14mil a year and make him say no. he won't have to worry about fans leaving early during blowouts....AGGY BLOWOUTS!!!

at the very least maybe he uses that to make bama pay more, taking money away from their potential recruits. surely a national championship would be worth the extra money spent. Oil is mid 50's, may hit 60 by year's end.

Just to be clear, nobody is settling here. We are just predicting what's going to happen based on our boosters' history.

So until one of us hits the Mega Millions jackpot, we are all just some simpleton jizz jar peons.
