I’m cooling down and less emotional, here’s my take on where we are

We will lose 2 out of Arky, State, ole Miss, South Carolina

This is our season this year
Recruiting will drop from top 10 to top 20 because we’ll lose some that are on board

Nah. You're just overreacting. We are right where we all thought we would be in the off-season. Auburn is just having one of those unpredictable "Auburn" seasons where they'll go 10-2 and exceed all expectations. This is still a season with 4 guaranteed losses, we just have to add that unpredictable Auburn loss now. This was never the season to make noise on a national level, so what the frick are we crying about??
Now I know a lot of us will call for Calzada to start at some point this season, but doing so would be stupid. So let's not even go there. We shouldn't throw him into the fire against Alabama, Georgia, and LSU and ruin his confidence. We have no run game, so everything would fall on his shoulders. That's not something you want to put on a young QB. We need to let him sit back and learn from Mond's mistakes.
Time to bunker down and ride this bitch out like we all said we would in the off-season. The jizz ain't flowing this season.

Although I'm not predicting much better. 7-5, sez me. Before the last debacle I really thought that of Bama, UGA and LSU the Aggies had the best shot of beating Bama at Kyle. But now we see @home doesn't mean shite. Those are 3 losses, but the only 3. (He says, filling his bourbon glass.)

We better be more competitive against Georgia and LSU than we were against Auburn, because how we look toward the end of the year will give us a good look into next years team since almost everyone is coming back and a lot of people think it should be the year we compete for a playoff spot

It's a down year talent wise with the hardest schedule in program history. Chill tf out.
Jimbo knows how to recruit. We have a young team and a charmin soft schedule next year. If we dont make a NY6 next year, then its time to panic. Until then, let the new coach we are paying big big bucks figure it out and get his process going.

Again the same thing with Clemson...it took Dabo Swinney several years to climb a average program like ours into the powerhouse it is now. Also like the 2012 team they started cold then turned red hot throughout that year. Let's see if we respond well VS Arkansas this weekend. If we do well then we'll be ok this year. If not well 6-6 is the outlook.

Dabo wasn't getting $7.5 million per year to go 6-7 in his second full year. If we lost 4 and got blown out 70-33 in a bowl in year 3 like Dabo people's heads would explode.

We need to play more than 3 quarters of football. Clemson it was the 2nd. Auburn it was the 1st. If we play the entire damn game like we do the other 3 quarters we win both games.

It's always been about 2020. We can pretend we thought differently coming into the year (annual Aggie optimism, not altogether misplaced), but this was always going to be the year we flushed thr last of Sumlin's main cogs and ramped up for a 2020 run if our most talented upperclassmen return.
This year we're playing with house money against the high ranked teams on our schedule.
