Just below 100K for the number 13 team in the country, an SEC team, a team that was having a Cinderella year and a team with one of the nation’s best RBs in Snell on offense and Allen on defense.

It was a really comfortable night with a nice breeze when it decided to blow.

I the fanbase; they missed a whale of a game. An old school hard nosed defensive match.

We haven’t seen that in a long, long while.

Astros, maybe? I don't know, but that surprised me, too.

ACL maybe?

We never should have expanded to 100k+.

Agreed. Old army soft AF. It also didn’t seem very loud.

Pretty disappointed considering defensive battles are supposed to bring the pain, or so I’ve been told

ETA: I will say the fact that it was Kentucky, despite their ranking and team strength, probably hurt the numbers. Just doesn’t have the same pull a similarly ranked big 6 program would have. At least that’s my guess.

Sad as it is to say I kinda agree. Pretty sure studies have shown that attendance at all types of sporting events is declining and the millennial generation just doesn’t seem to care about sports as much.

Don’t think that was the case. I heard they handled their entire allotment and even heard delta or southwest had added an extra flight or two to Houston or Austin.

Lower ticket prices, duh.

It’s always hilarious to see folks get pissed off at fans for not going. There’s a reason, tickets are outrageous.

But instead of adjusting prices, organizations try to do everything possible but the one sure thing that’ll bring people in.

In my defense, my buddy didn't tell me he had an extra ticket until the night before the game

The atmosphere was awesome. Yea it sucked it wasn't 100% full but the noise level was off the charts.
