I don't see how our boosters are more involved than any other major program. They absolutely meddle, no doubt, but how is that different from a school like UT?Or Ohio State?

Yeah, I meant to reply about the same thing this afternoon. I'm pretty dubious about that claim. And he spoke vaguely about "the university leadership" and people wanting to play AD. Who are we talking about here? Regents? Major donors? John Sharp or Bowtie? All of them?

I can't imagine whining to the press about a former employer. There's never a situation where that's going to come off as anything other than a twatty, passive-agressive, teenaged girl, beta thing to do. Especially when the moral of the story is "I, Eric Hyman, am a cuck."

Never has a person had a more apt surname than Eric Hyman. Marked from birth as a total pussy.

They tourney you buy your way into when you miss the NIT so you can claim you made the postseason.

That was after, at the beginning of the season, Hyman said that the condition for Kennedy keeping his job was a "postseason appearance" and he failed to make the NIT.

I would have respected him if he came out and laid out names. He's retired and has nothing to gain or lose.

But instead he's playing the same political bullshite he claims he hates.

Several things stick out at me from his interview:

1) he makes a comment about how he wasn’t a good fit because of his “ethical standards”.....he sure didn’t have a problem collecting that paycheck though!

2) his whining about being micromanaged.....it happens at tons of other schools with big, wealthy boosters. Man up and work the problems just like the AD does at any other big time school.

3) actually not ripping him on this last point, I thought it was interesting that he said the new Kyle wasn’t built on Johnny’s success and that most of the road map for it was done before he ever even stepped on the field. Thought that was really interesting and would like to hear more.

Forgot all about that.

Other weird thing about this interview was the reporter said it was 10 minutes at a Starbucks. Did he just run into Hyman and start peppering him or was this an arranged 10 minute meeting? This sounds about as formal as an interview for A&M head football coaching position.
