I don't hate 'em at all. Some of the LSU fans on the rant are annoying, but that's also true of Aggie fans. Sheer numbers just make the annoyance more noticeable.

I can't judge any fanbase based on their internet presence. Most Aggies on TA are pretty shitty people. Y'all are great though.

I actually don't mind LSU fans in every sport except football. LSU fans are miserable most of every football season, and they take it out on other fanbases.
Miles football keeps LSU fans pissed off 90% of the time, so LSU fans have to spend time telling everybody why they are better than other schools in order to feel better about the shite they are subjected to watching every week. Yes, they do win games, especially against A&M, but it's a constantly stressful experience, and after experiencing the success of two national titles, it's never really fulfilling.
LSU is nowhere close to equal to Alabama, so they are now obsessed with being better than A&M. It's pathetic, and it makes me loathe them.

I've lurked for years, just now getting around to getting my opinion heard. I like the layers of meta going on here. TA is just a horrible place, and /r/cfb is too tame for me nowadays.

Most LSU grads I've met are quality people. But they live in Texas.
The ones from Lousiana I'm not a fan of.
And your football team has been the only thing standing in the way of us having multiple fantastic seasons since 2010 and perhaps a natty in 2012.

And it's a good rivalry. hope it continues. I think at the end of the day all the crap is talked and then followed by " good game" never happened in the BDF, but does here.
in the Big XII with tU, Baylor, or Tech, i legitimately wanted a lot of them to die in the fire after game week due to threads and the smack at games (i've been to one of each of those rivalry games as a t-shirt fan)
there literally never could have been something like tRant for the BXII after around 2000. it just got to hated and not heated.

Not sure. I don't really hate lsu, though I think I could learn to. Honestly haven't had many interactions with corndog fans irl.
However, if the ags can finally win this year IN Baton rouge WITH chavis....I think that's when the rivalry will start in earnest. Until ags win there isn't really a rivalry.

I'm older than most but LSU fans remind me a lot of Texas Tech fans from the SWC days. They like to party more than most. They're quick to anger and get rustled easily. I don't hate them at all. But I'm always curious as to why their fuses are so short.

My dad went to LSU and my brother lives in Covington. My family, historically speaking, is from up in Tensas Parish.
LSU fans on the Rant just seem bad because it is the home board for LSU. TexAgs, the home board for A&M, is similarly full of idiot homers and generally terrible, delusional posters.

I don't hate LSU. But it was a fun rivalry back in the late 80s/ early 90s.
