re: Honest reason for Aggies hatred for LSU on tRant

I can honestly say that I agree with most of you on here. I can't wait (well I can but it will still be cool) for 20 years from now when LSU-A&M is one of those rivalry games that everyone talks about.

I really think both teams (well I guess LSU is kind of already in the middle of it) are primed for a golden era of their football teams. LSU has been on a slight decline the last few years, but we seem to save our best season for every four years (PLEASE BE THIS YEAR LOL). I think A&M is building a head of steam.

It will be really interesting to see if Sumlin's offense will keep a competent defense breathing enough to be able to hold for four quarters. I think that the depth is coming along and the Aggies could be the team to beat in the next few years on a regular basis. Alabama won't go away with the top recruiting class every year that Saban is there, but neither will LSU and A&M.

Cannot wait for the season to begin. Wish I could make the trip to the game, but I will be stuck in Waco, TX so if anyone isn't going down to Baton Rouge, maybe y'all could let me know a cool place in B/CS to watch the game and we could meet up. Then I could take some folks down to BTR in 3 years and show them how we tailgate Tiger style

Since neither has won a championship in a sport most of us follows, we can call that a draw. I follow baseball so I am very happy with where we are but I know you may not so I'm not gonna use that to hang my hat on.

In the two main sports we are pretty even. Football, we are beating you on a regular basis, while basketball y'all are beating us.

And before you say it, I know that we have had pretty similar records in football over the last few years since y'all have joined.
