It will probably be contained by then. There are a few vaccines that are about to go to trial.

Too many advertisers to cancel. They'll probably play the games with no fans in the stands. The cities that host these events will probably take a hit from no tourists.

Watching this starting to take over European soccers biggest leagues, and now having seen some “behind closed door” matches...I can’t imagine being able to watch American college basketball without fans in the stands. Forget about the super eerie experience of not having fans which ends up making it feel like a scrimmage, but Being able to hear the players and coaches clear as day , and all of the cursing would melt some folks brains.

Should be fine by football season, but the NCAAT and even conference tournaments should probably go behind closed doors at this point. You can’t have most of the country quarantined and not give them the tourney to watch though, they won’t be canceled.

Montgomery ISD just ended for spring break early.

Our little league sent a notice they're considering postponing the remainder of the season.

And the NCAA just announced that they'll be playing the tournament without fans.

My guess is other leagues will follow soon. Some local governments have banned events that attract over 1k people. The Golden State Warriors, San Francisco Giants, and the Seattle Mariners are all located in areas with such restrictions.

Political move by Sylvester Turner. Reason #101 I am moving away from the commie shithole formerly known as Greater Houston. Mayor is a known closet ****. County Judge is a PCC sympathizer born in Columbia. Go figure.

It’s getting ridiculous, people need to take a deep breath and understand that mayors of the big cities are being briefed with information that the federal government doesn’t want the public to know yet.

Flatten The Curve

Here's a link that does a job dumbing down why precautions are being taken to a level even little ol me can understand. The top of the bell curve is why Italy is in such a bad situation.

I love the rodeo, and hope my committee can do something for our kids, but the decision wasn't without reason.

Exactly, if every hospital bed is filled with a coronavirus patient, Where are people with other critical issues going to go? No country has the capacity to put 20% of their elderly in hospital beds, no country

Between Monday and today I've lost about $45k. That's not a subtle money brag, I'm just sad.

This is not an overreaction. We should be taking precautions at every level of government to curb spread of the virus and help our markets rebound. It is ruining people financially in Europe and we don't want to fall victim to the same issue.

There are currently 6 positive cases (4 presumptive positives) in Harris County.

I've gotten totally fricked on my Exxon stock between CV and the Saudis flooding the market. My investment baw has been begging me to sell it for over a year and my dumb arse said lets wait until it hits 70 in the summer. Two days after I last met with him it dropped from 61 to 50 and now its at 39 and still falling.
