Liucci also said the Pittsburgh opening could be something Foster looks at. Not sure if he has a connection to the school but he definitely does some recruiting up there.

Honestly he'll probably make more as our DC than Pitts HC.

Chryst made 1.8m at Pitt, and that was before their ACC money kicked in.

That was the conversation on the Matt Thomas show just now, but it was Muschamp DC at a power 5 or HC at Cougar High. Now that is a real conversation. Tony made 925K. He, like Sumlin before him, would have gotten bonuses for stayign HC for UH every year or few years.

One down looks like. Reports are WM to Barn for $1.5 million.

That's neither here nor there if we end up with Foster. Are we really getting Foster?

Nobody knows anything. Sumlin runs a tight ship when it comes to info, so its only safe to assume he is leading the coaching search and the AD is only there for HR purposes.

As far as Bud Foster...even if the rumors are true that he reached out to Sumlin and that they met in NY for an interview, there is a good chance he may be using us to get a pay raise. The only reason to believe otherwise is the rumor that Bud Foster not being considered as a legit HC replacement for Beamer when the time comes.

He already has a contract extension in hand, and he's apparently had it for a bit. He hasn't signed it yet. So...

This is getting real. Top 3 DC targets are looking more and more off the board with each passing hour, a swarm of commitment announcements coming up who were probably told a deal would be done by the dead period--which is next week--hasn't happened. Sumlin needs to move on to tier 2 candidates, imo. All this stalling looks bad to everyone.

the people that run our program would frick up a 1 car funeral. Their futility is epic.
