aww, chillax. It's a silly argument and he's incorrect but if that were the criteria we wouldn't have anyone left

FWIW, Liucci made a comment recently that if A&M wants Foster, he would be our DC.

I'm going to go ahead and declare this shite pulled out of Liucci's arse. None of the pay sites know what's going on and are likely throwing stuff and hoping stuff sticks. So far we've heard names, but those are all names you'd assume Sumlin would look at.

I trust Liucci in these situations. He's the mouthpiece of the administration

Sorry if came off strong. Didn't mean to offend anyone or send it down a meaningless rabbit trail. Always enjoy getting insight from the rest of you.

If any of the pay sites knew what was going on, we'd know who has been interviewed by now.

But so far, no one knows. All we've heard is names. Even Liucci is just throwing out names and statements that, even if not true, are worded very carefully to make them hard to prove/disprove.

I wouldn't get him kicked off in his first 3 posts unless he did something way worse than that. Or was named Hank.

247 is saying that we are waiting until muschamp does something, TA is saying that venables is on the short list but at the bottom of that short list, AY is saying that we are close to locking up venables. this search

Well... none of those claims are actually contradictory. We might have a "Three Blind Men Describe an Elephant" situation here.

Could be that Muschamp is the BMAs' first choice and that we're waiting on him. Failing that, the BMAs may have other candidates they'd like to try and money-whip (Narduzzi, Foster), and if they can't get that done, they go with Sumlin's first choice, which is Venables. Sumlin could have already explained the situation to Venables, and gotten all his ducks in a row to finalize the deal in anticipation of the BMAs striking out.

It may eventually be & Sumlin may be getting back ups in line, but I think we're holding out for Muschamp to make a decision first.

If it's Foster, I won't be filling any jars any time soon...because I'll have ripped my dick off from fapping so hard.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but how in the hell would we be able to snag Foster? Hasn't he been at Va Tech for 25+ years? I would fill many jars if he came here, I'm just wondering if it is a legit possibility. And if so, why?

He's supposedly been told that he will not be the head coach at VT once Beamer leaves.

Even with Beamer's health problems he was not their choice to be interim coach if Beamer weren't able to coach the bowl.

I think Foster reached out to A&M 3 years ago if I'm not mistaken but then pulled himself out.

Also, maybe the writing is on the wall with Beamer and he knows he isn't getting the gig.

I would really like Foster. VTech seems to always have a solid defense.

And to be clear, where I heard Foster is no way official. Not so sure kids aren't picking the candidate they like out of the targets and we are just appeasing them. I kind of assume the strong Venables rumors are coming about the same way.

im fairly certain foster has the best resume over the past 10 years. All with midlevel talent for their conference. Clemson and OU are top tier in their conferences, and florida/texas/auburn/alabama for muschamp.
