What makes you think Allen is the best? Did you watch the ole miss game by chance?

I didn't watch. I can only go by the reviews and stats unfortunately. Truth be told, I haven't watched much of aTm this year but when I have, I've been much more impressed with Allen and Murray. I think Murray is a heck of an athlete, however I haven't seen him do anything impressive while throwing the ball.

IMO, there has to be something going on with Allen that isn't being disclosed, or maybe even he's hiding from the staff because he's worried about losing his job. He was playing quite well and *poof* all of a sudden he is just god-awful out of nowhere? Seems quite odd.

Y'all can start Kyler and he'd probably make some similar plays as Manziel (although he doesn't have Mike Evans nor the arm JFF had(s)). However, I don't think that would be a sustainable offense moving forward and if the reports about him being a headcase are close to true, that would not be profitable for y'all in the long run.

But like I said, I only have limited observations of aTm this season, y'all would know more about the situation than I.

Part of me wants to go with Allen, though. He has all the tools to be a great QB. But I feel like our Oline and our OC being atrocious at what they do, he is already working from behind to catch up. Whereas with Kyler, the threat of him scrambling will keep defenses honest.

Murray is a more polished passer than has been shown so far this year.

Our offense needs quick decisions and a quick release. Kyle has neither of those.

Kyle is the best NFL prospect of the 3 but that doesn't necessarily mean he translates to our O well

Working on it now. Had an interview today so I've been a little busy. My bad.

eta: It's... not close.

He needs to work on his motion/release. That stuff barely flies here, he'll get torn apart in the pros

TBH, I don't think your "O" translates to being successful right now. Y'all need to go back to what Sumlin has had the most success with in his career...the Air Raid.

Agree. It's a systemic failure, at all levels. Play calling, QB, RB, run blocking, pass blocking, receivers getting open and then catching the ball. S&C. Recruiting. It's all been a mess since Johnny, Mike, Kliff and the Sherman OL left town.

I wouldn't mind if Sumlin just got rid of any offensive staff he didn't last year.

Well yeah, I was told not to count it by the Ags. I will though, if they want me to.
