The math I figured they would use is UT brass and donors telling the committee they aren't playing SMU, the more things change the more they stay the same.

From what I remember, the lowest ranked conference champ was always going to get the 12th seed, mostly on the assumption it was going to be a G5 team.

It’s finally happened, a school had to drop out of a bowl because of transfers. Marshall had to drop out of the Independence Bowl because they have 36(!) players in the portal and no longer have enough players to play.

Yep, sadly not surprising with all the transferring now. Lower tier bowls are gonna be left behind and wouldn’t be shocking to see several eventually canceled/discontinued.

Alright, been waiting to make this post but what do we think about the test experiment that was Game Week Threads this year? Do we continue back with the old way of season-long threads for next season?
