oh come on Baylor/Waco, you can't be fricking serious
So an All-Big 12 Baylor player gets arrested on felony charges and it's not reported for 6 months? And nobody checks into it until Baylor suspends him for a game? Unbelievable.
The dude even traveled which suggests he wasn't even suspended until the external fixer Law Firm was hired. These fricksticks running Baylor have zero self-awareness

Stewart, 21, was arrested by area police in March and was charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle.
McLennan County Jail records show he posted a $5,000 bond and was released from custody on the charge.
Booking records show that he was arrested by McLennan County sheriff's deputy early in the morning on March 27.
Baylor declined to comment on the arrest.

That's right, he's currently jumping up and down on the sideline on national tv with an outstanding arrest warrant issued in the state of Texas. Someone want to call Pony PD? That would be hilarious to watch him hauled off in cuffs on live tv
Btw, for those that don't know Oakman was kicked out of Penn State for assaulting a female clerk who was reporting him for stealing
And...
You may remember Ketchum from such films as "Expelled from High School" and "Quitting football because the coach told you to play a different position."

Waco Municipal Court records show that an arrest warrant charging violation of promise to appear was issued for Oakman this summer after he failed to pay a $266 fine for running a stop sign.
The failure to appear citation carries a $188 fine.
The warrant remained active Friday.

He was released early the next morning after posting a $1,000 bond.

This is just amazing stuff. Hard to believe, really. And all under ol' Ken Starr's watch.

hey, just in case y'all don't read that fixer article. It's about the specific law firm Baylor hired.
This is the same law firm Penn State hired btw
quote:
The longtime friends and colleagues, now partners at Pepper Hamilton, a storied Philadelphia law firm led by a former FBI director, advertise themselves as victim advocates with big hearts in addition to legal know-how. Although none of the more than 50 colleges and universities they’ve worked with would freely admit it, they also offer schools struggling with PR crises a speedy way to send a message that they’re on the case.
-snip-
Although some students and faculty members praised their work, others said the retention of Smith and Gomez — who acknowledged that they’ve never read a student complaint — encourage their schools to crack down on activists instead of rapists and to adopt boilerplate policies instead of calling out inept administrators.
