That's where you're wrong. We have the same (or less) obnoxious posters than LSU and Bama and Arky posters. Singling out one fanbase as the main cause of problems is disingenuous and you know it.

And? The style of posting currently in play on the Rant was there long before most TAMU posters got here. Yet you blame us for falling in line with the prevailing attitudes on the board.
And I'm an admin on THIS board, not the main Rant. I don't have any more power or sway there than you (hell, I hardly have any actual "power" here, tbh. Being an admin isn't a huge deal unless you're one of the owners).

I wasn't around Thurs-Sun for the shitshow that apparently happened. I'm sure LSU fans were obnoxious. But what I do know is we don't go back to our board to brag about it and e-high five each other.
Eta and this board is on SECrant.com. You're an admin on this website. That's all I was implying. The fact that yall have this "frick the rant, but our board is awesome" mentality is yet another reason why I think yall have made tRant worse.

Admins were on alert after that for a while. That probably helped in all honesty. Same after the 9-6 game. LSU fans were awful

I was on the Rant for both :9-6: and :21-0: and their respective aftermaths. Nothing that TAMU fans have ever done in the long run can touch what lsufan and bamafan accomplished during that fabled stretch of time. Nothing
But like you said, these are both of our opinions. And of course we're both hopelessly biased.

If Chicken changes the protocol for posting there, people will follow suit, but as much as you think TAMU posters have sullied the site, the vast majority of non-lsu posters think about y'all, so it's all a wash in the end

Dude I can go start a thread asking a legit question about LSU'S team this year and all I would get are bullshite statements about how bad A&M is from all but a handful of LSU posters. The really bad thing is I don't troll and only occasionally take part in the putting down of LSU or any fanbase for that matter.

), to be responded to by a slew of lsu posters saying "9-6." This went on for months. lsufan was insufferable towards everyone on their march toward perfection and especially toward bamafan. Better believe the bama posters gave it back hardcore for months afterward
And, by the way, swap any two fanbases in that scenario and the exact same thing would have happened. No one is above it.
But acting like anything A&M fans are doing now is nearly as bad as either a) lsufan's constant insufferable posts themselves or b) what they've done in the not-so-distant past is poppycock of the lowest order.

That's the point. No one is. There is no point in attempting to do so the way things currently are on the board. The only hope of actual conversation/civil debate usually only occurs after a thread has gone on for at least 4-5 pages of mudslinging by all sides
Just like one fanbase isn't to blame for the state of the rant, no one fanbase will have any success trying to "better" the place on their own. It'd be 1 vs. 13
