I’ll never be upset about winning the SEC tournament but long term goals are bigger so either way I’ll be happy. Pretty disappointed with this evening given that we used Cortez and Ash and couldn’t get the win but I do get it, totally different situation than if we were in a regional. Schloss would’ve probably pulled Cortez before the start of the inning. Just starting to worry about where our bats have gone as of late

The bats have struggled against good pitching. This is what happens when you start midweek pitching against lesser teams using starters. It happened to every top seed in the tournament. MSU is fighting to host a regional and used their best pitching against our not so great midweek guys. I’d prefer the go 0-2 at this point than burn pitching in a trivial, meaningless tournament

Yeah I understand why we did the pitching the way we did. I’m not bothered by that, I honestly don’t wanna go 0-2 I’m don’t wanna sit around for a whole week. Win tomorrow and play one more and let’s get ready for regionals

Might be okay with beating Tennessee with the pitchers working limited counts. Certainly don’t want to play much longer. Arms get tired this time of year. Would have been nice to win one, but not sweating it.

Every single top team did the same thing. I think A&M is better off going through the motions and going home. Winning these meaningless tournaments has never worked in the past

Well, let's hope that was exactly what they are/were doing.

We will see. Winning tournament never worked under Childress. Numerous times he burned pitchers before regionals

Latest D1 has us projected as the #4 overall matched up with the Okie St Regional. tu is our 2 seed (duh), but even more interesting (IMO) is Lsu is Okie St's 2 seed. Lsu @ A&M for a super would be fire.

i was thinking about that last week. LSU is likely going to norman or stillwater and decent chance they are paired with A&M. Old ags will be having full blown PTSD if that super regional were to happen

They’re hot right now. And definitely scary for anyone to match up with. Hope our bats show back up next weekend

Texas as the three seed in CS. Never thought I’d see that day.

Actually a strong two/three means each team probably has to throw their ace in the first game.

That I do agree with. Idk if Schloss is willing to pitch backwards or not but maybe Lamkin/Jones should start Friday and Prager Saturday

I expect we will run a midweek or Sunday starter like Lamkin against Grambling. Prager will pitch the second game.

I 100% expect Prager for game 2.

Anybody gonna be in attendance this weekend? Might sneak in Saturday, depending on the time
