Sounds like he’s an all time a-hole if the write up Billy put out is anywhere close to accurate.

Oh well, next

Going at a reporter last night the way he did is pretty rough. And the rumors and stuff about his family were out there long before he came to A&M. I don’t necessarily fault him for leaving, lord knows our admin can frick up a wet dream so who knows the whole story. But it’s pretty easy to see he’s a slime ball

My point with that isn’t that I care that he is, it’s that I want to keep our stacked roster intact for next year because I’m sure him and our previous staff are actively recruiting it to Texas

Of course you are right. If he does a James Franklin it would be shitty.

I’m sure they’ll try. Hopefully our AD wasn’t totally blindsided, but my expectations are low for our admin

Brauny says this also started rolling the weekend of the Georgia series. That was immediately after Alberts made a bunch of cuts at the athletic department, which would support the rumor that Schloss was not happy with Justin Moore being fired.

Farmer, can we not cram news into one thread like this...I feel like the board is missing out on new threads that would be interesting to users. Instead they are lost inside the mega thread. Thoughts?

Any idea who the list of candidates may be? Or is there even one?

The is some of the most Aggie shite to ever Aggie. This is the life we chose, Ags.

A&M finished Top 3 twice in the last 3 years, proving a good coach can compete for championships here. That's a better life than most.

Schloss did a hell of a job and moved on. Now we must go out and find a good coach like other schools do all the time.

The only thing I’m sure about in this whole saga is that the coaching search is going to be a shite show, and ultimately underwhelming with ol trev.

My response to several folks that have texted me in the last 24 hours.

"Being an Aggie fans isn't for pussy's, frick tu."

I'll be checking out for a while now, sometimes you get too wrapped up in situations that you have zero control over and it takes a slap up side the head for you to reset your priorities. Been there way too many time over the last few years with A&M athletics. Sumlin, Kyler, 2022 recruiting class, Jimbo, and now Schloss.

Agree with you.

However.... if a few of the rumors turn out to be true about Schloss and or coaches that went with him...told portal players not to sign NIL deals with A&M after he took the job with Texas... then we got a big problem. Now you have big damages.

If... and I do mean IF... it turns out to be true and it is provable then Texas A&M ought to sue the living shite out of him. Sue him properly and drag this shite out as long as possible. Don't accept any settlement. Lawyers are good at running the clock.

Additionally I am not 100% certain that donors to A&M baseball and current NIL supporters for baseball wouldn't individually have legal standing for a lawsuit directly against Schloss if the allegations turned out to be true and provable. Legal if warranted... can make an individuals life a living hell. Once again the allegations I am hearing about must be true and provable. Just takes 1 recruit to telll us it happened. It's a ruthless strategy but would be unbelievably effective.

If NOT true then no hard feelings and we move on.

Absolutely.

Like I said "IF" anything like that went down with potential players coming to A&M. over the last few months or whenever the deal was cut.

Potentially a very nasty situation if Schloss and other coaches did anything like that. I'm not convinced it happened but it is a possiblity. More than a few people will know for sure.

Gather enough evidence to warrant starting discovery and look the frick out. Been through a large lawsuit myself and the shite gets real very quickly when you receive a court order to turn over laptops and cell phone for forensic download and discovery. Imagine Texas A&M picking 30-50 "key words" to filter all texts and emails against with respect to baseball and NIL. It won't take long once in discovery to prove anything.

Once again... IF.

I understand the inclination to pursue legal action, but I don't understand short term or long term benefit to that path.

I think it is wiser to use this moment of defeat to determine where the athletic department came up short and find a compelling story to galvanize donors. Then go out with an even bigger war chest to find the right coach and the best players.

Hope Kendall is right.

We literally have no time left to get new players to cover the holes. Schloss is a POS.

There's a difference between "paying whatever is needed" and knowing that those making those decision are incompetent idiots who can't even be considered brain donors because there isn't enough collective brain between John Sharp and the other members of the dipshit brigade that run our administration to provide enough material to donate.

Simple: You make such a harsh example out of them so that no one ever does anything like this again. You basically make them radioactive.
