Yup

quote:

Texas A&M knocks off Vanderbilt 5-1.

If the season ended today, the Aggies would likely host.

Heck of a turn around in College Station.

Micah Dallas continues to struggle. What a terrible performance tonight. Not sure what we are going to do about game two pitching at this point. It’s like the team got behind early and just gave up on the game. We will see what happens tomorrow

Seems like forever since we’ve won a game two

Dettmer has gotten better as the season progresses while Dallas has gone the other way. This is the biggest worry for me come postseason.

I think Dallas needs to sit for a bit. Maybe move to the mid-week pitcher slot. He has very little control on his pitches. Maybe tired?

This team just fights. Not much pitching talent but gutsy

Regardless of how this thing finishes it’s been such a joy to see us go from misfits who weren’t making a regional to a team that just ran thru a serious SEC schedule.

Have to admit a little concern about SC this weekend. They are playing better, are unranked, and Dallas needs to get his head out of his arse or we have serious pitching depth issues. As somebody else said on TA it is AMAZING we are in this spot given the patchwork pitching

It speaks to Schloss and Yeskie managing it all.

Lately, it seems like the secret sauce has been lefties. Arkansas and Vandy both struggled mightily against our lefties.

Seriously, I said it before. The reason I came around on Schloss after the hire was the staff he put together. Earley and Yeskie are both outstanding coaches, and it is showing in A&M's play at this point.
